I work with process mining for Software AG ARIS Process Mining, though not extensively, but I know the features that it has. I've tried importing Visio flowcharts into both IBM and Software AG ARIS Process Mining. Both were successful, but some manual intervention is necessary because Visio is quite a basic tool. Importing those flowcharts into advanced tools requires manual efforts, but both tools were successful in importing Visio flowcharts. The overall rating for Software AG ARIS Process Mining is 7 out of 10.
ARIS Process Mining is a cloud-based solution. We are currently working via the ARIS-provided environment based on Amazon. Users should look at the scalability perspective, which is more important. It should not happen that people deploy another isolated tool for process mining, and nothing comes out of it. So, scalability should be the prime factor. It should be used for other purposes like optimizations and improving the processes afterward. Overall, I rate Software AG ARIS Process Mining ten out of ten.

To someone who is just considering this solution for themselves, I would say that the tool is perfect once you know what you want to do with it. Majorly you need to have a proper understanding of your current business before even getting the tool. But from the perspective of the tool, it's easy to learn and easy to use. Also, the solution's dashboards and the capabilities of data process mining are very good. Taking into consideration the engagement, the training materials, the ease of use, and the customization capabilities, you can always add how many you can keep adding new variables for your processes as long as you want. This is something that gives us flexibility. I rate the overall product a ten out of ten.
Based on the version I used, you get what you pay for at that price point. But if you want the most advanced and high-end technology for process mining, then I wouldn't go for it. Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten.
