Other than the log-and-drop option for downloaded content, I don't think that my company uses the product for anything else. My company doesn't manage the product since it is an area taken care of by the ISP. The functions in Sophos Cyberoam UTM, which play the biggest role in protecting our company's network, stem from areas like advanced thread management capabilities, web servers, email filtering and notifications, along with intrusion detection and prevention. The analytics part of the product is fine. The product is easy to maintain. The product can be maintained by one person who has access to the tool. The product's support when my organization faces a critical issue can be considered as a slow process. When I went through the product's website, I saw how the solution claims to have launched products for schools and the education sector. I have not received a response acknowledgement from Sophos for the mail I sent to Sophos' team asking about the products that the company claims to have launched for schools and the education sector. A few areas in the product are not as easy as you would expect the tool to be, so new users need to be trained. The interface is fine and smooth since it allows you to have an overall view of what is happening in your network. If I consider Prometheus and Zabbix on Unix, I would say that Sophos is quite good. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

I rate the product an eight out of ten. I think it's very beneficial, especially for our investment in our engineering team, like working on finance. It is beneficial for data privacy and security for our clients.
I would definitely recommend it. I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. Overall, it's an excellent product. I only see room for improvement in the reporting part.
I am using versions XG 210, XG 125, and XGS 120 of the product. I will recommend XG 125 to small companies. I would recommend the bigger series from XG 210 onwards for bigger companies. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
Today in India, many small companies are coming up very fast. They are what we call the BDM and small enterprises. There, the penetration or awareness of firewalls for protecting data is very low. We have been successful in advising, both in terms of cyber risk in terms of acquiring hardware and secondly in terms of training, why it should happen. The first part is the customer sensitization, "Why should you go for a firewall?" And "What kind of firewall then?" An enterprise-level firewall is not required for a small business person because he would not have commercial transactions. "Do you sell products on your website?" or "Do you use cloud for SaaS?" Affordability is not the main question today. The bigger question is how you can convince or sensitize the customer on how necessary security is in today's world. Today if you have one transaction lost or get hacked, you would lose a huge amount of money, and the risk involved is ever-growing. I can confidently recommend Sophos Cyberoam UTM and rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I have installed Sophos UTM for more than 100 companies in many countries. The XG model has good features and it continues with Cyberoam features. We can find new features in Sophos XG for Cyberoam. The solution is not good for current times. We cannot find Cyberoam products in the market. It is discontinued. People should buy Sophos XGS. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
We are using the latest version of the solution, although the hardware might be a bit older. This is a pretty nice product, and I would recommend it. It doesn't require a lot of effort when it comes to setup and management. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
Considering the solution's interface, I can say that the product is easy to use. Also, the solution is compatible with other products. Moreover, it is easy to integrate it with other solutions. Overall, I rate this product a nine out of ten.
I used version 7.1 of Sophos Cyberoam UTM. Fixing and patching, or maintaining Sophos Cyberoam UTM, is a slow process. It's slower than FortiGate and F5. F5 and Fortigate have faster patching and UIs, including new features every month or two, versus Sophos Cyberoam UTM. You will only need a few staff to deploy Sophos Cyberoam UTM, but it still depends on the work, the scope of work, and the network. One to two staff will be enough to manage and maintain Sophos Cyberoam UTM if it's an easy deployment. For a middle-sized network, you'd need more staff. In the largest network of the company, three hundred people used Sophos Cyberoam UTM. Usage-wise, my company increases it whenever there's company growth. I recommend the solution to SMBs because it's easy to manage. My rating for Sophos Cyberoam UTM is ten out of ten.
We're a partner. I'm using the latest version of the solution. I am not sure if I would recommend the solution to others right now. It's a good idea to look at a variety of options. I'm also looking into alternatives. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. The support isn't great, and my understanding is it is coming up on end-of-life.
We are customers and end-users. We might be on version five or six of the solution. I'm not sure of the exact version number. We have a new project in Morocco and we will need to upgrade and order new equipment. I'll be creating a new order for Sophos soon to get a new version. The configuration will likely be the same. I'd rate the solution ten out of ten. It's an excellent product.

We don't like Cloud solutions in the IT security area. Firewalls feature critical infrastructures, such as networks. We don't advise our customers to use Cloud solutions. I would recommend Sophos Cyberoam UTM. I rate Sophos Cyberoam UTM an eight out of ten.

I would rate this solution 8 out of 10. My advice is that it's a good product if you're looking for security without much hassle. For other products, the maintenance is too high and you need a resource to manage that. With Cyberoam, you hardly need to manage it once the setup is done correctly.
We got was the PUC part only. We are not using it right now. We are currently using ASA. The product often had hang issues which was why we stopped using it. We will purchase again if there were no hardware issues. The pricing for this product is good. Though its quality may not be that good, its pricing is very low, enticing small businesses to purchase it over its competitors. I'm giving it a rating of eight out of ten because the product is really good, but you need to prepare the team, including the team handling the vendors because there are too many devices in the market. Everyone in the team needs to know how to move these things in Sophos devices, or in Sophos cloud-based technologies and application software.
We have around 20 clients using the solution, but have migrated 10 of them to Sophos. We recommend the solution to others. I rate Sophos Cyberoam UTM as a ten out of ten.

We're a gold partner. We configure it for our clients on-premises. Cyberoam was actually taken over by Sophos about three years ago. The latest versions were announced just about a few weeks ago, if not more. It was the XGS Firewall. So what I'm configuring right now is a Sophos XG firewall. It's just a firewall. Basically, it's the hardware. Either you have the hardware or you can have it as a virtual machine. I'd recommend the solution to other users. I'd rate the product at a nine out of ten.

I'm not sure of which version of the solution we're using. I'd recommend the solution. I would rate it at least a seven out of ten. It's a pretty good solution and we're mostly happy with it.
We're typically using the latest version of the solution. We update our policies every three years and continue to update them. The product is obsolete and we have moved over to Sophos. Generally, I would tend to recommend Sophos XE to users. Overall, I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten.
We are a customer and end-user. We are using various versions, including 100iNG, 50iNG, and 25iNG. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. There's always room for improvement, although mostly we have been happy with it.
Cyberoam is going to end this year. They already have announced last year if you are an enterprise and have the support it will end. What I have learned from using this solution is when choosing another product in the future I will do more technical feature comparisons. Having done the comparisons I most likely would not have been having some of the issues I was having because I would have gone with another solution. I rate Sophos Cyberoam UTM a seven out of ten.

We are in the process of changing the firewall in our company. We have been using Sophos Cyberoam UTM for ten years, and now the device is quite old. It has been working fine, and we are looking for new equipment only because of the age of this device. We have requirements for features like filtering, VPN connections, and we are trying to find the best solution for our requirements at a reasonable price. I would rate Sophos Cyberoam UTM a five out of ten.

My advice is that if Cyberoam continues in the future then it is a product I recommend. However, my understanding is that the product will no longer be available next year. For people who want to migrate from Cyberoam, the best option that we have seen so far is from Fortinet. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

When we transitioned from Cyberoam to Sophos Cyberoam UTM, we were able to back up the rules and then upload them into the new solutions. It was easy to do and within a few hours, it was set up. If your company does not have a network administrator then this is a good option because the training makes it very easy to use. For larger, enterprise-level organizations, people will look for different solutions. If I were rating this product only for the Sri Lankan market then I would score it an eight out of ten. However, the majority of other countries do not have the issue of bandwidth limitations, and without the quota being important, I cannot rate it as high. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

I would just say keep it simple, don't make it too complex. Keep it simple and then from there scale it up. I would rate it an eight out of ten. To make it a higher score, Sophos should look at the virtual firewall feature because most of the current players like Juniper have the option for a virtual firewall. That way you can actually split up into multiple different firewalls or one physical firewall.

See what your market is offering. Here in Zambia, Cyberoam has a lot of support. Take your time and make sure that when you're making a decision, your requirements are met. Cyberoam met our requirements. I was only looking at web filtering and I got a whole lot more than that. Also, your after-sales support is crucial. Train yourself, because if you have the knowledge of a product, it's easy for you to set it up and use it to its fullest potential. I rate this solution a nine out of ten. It has met many of my requirements even without subscription, just the base model. It's easy to use, easy to install, easy to implement. There isn't too much headache or cabling, you don't have to replace a whole, huge network. You're just replacing one thing and it can be implemented without an issue.

I am rating it a 10 out of 10 because it has never failed us. Talk to people who are actually using it. Actual experience always differs from the product advertisement. Most important criteria when selecting a vendor: * Market share * Ease of use * Best practices * Comments of different users from different companies of the product. Before I purchase anything, I go onto web and do thorough research about: * What the product can offer. * What are the challenges. * What are the properties of that product that makes our IT people's lives easier. * What happens if something goes wrong. * How fast I can get support. * What are its internet support options? Sometimes, if a product is used widely, you do not even have to call anyone in support. The answers are all over the Internet. For example, if you are using a Microsoft product, you don't even have to call Microsoft, because the Internet is growing with Microsoft articles about how to do and what to do when there are issues. If you are using a very limited operating system, like a Mac operating system, Mac OS. It's not very common, so you need to get professional help.
Cyberoam Unified Threat Management hardware appliances offer comprehensive security to organizations, ranging from large enterprises to small and branch offices. Multiple security features integrated over a single, Layer 8 Identity-based platform make security simple, yet highly effective.
