Overall, I would rate it a nine out of ten. I've been recommending Talend for six or seven months now to almost anybody who's interested in that space. Compared to other products, we had about 12 on the list that we analyzed, and we ended up choosing Boomi and Talend. And even then, those two were quite significantly out in front. It's a low-code, no-code, simple-to-use platform that's easy to support. Talend is so far out in front of everybody else that we know it's very hard not to recommend them to anybody. It's all around error handling and ease of use. Boomi does so many tasks so well, but in some areas, it's really quite hard to use. Those areas are where Talend is so easy. It's a real big difference. Functionally wise, they're both providing the same functions, but Talend is significantly easier to use.
Most customers use the solution on-premises. However, it can be deployed anywhere in the cloud with the Java virtual machine environment. You can execute everything because you get the compiled executable of your programs that can be executed with any JavaScript. Java can be executed everywhere because the current version includes all the connectors. You don't have to install anything. If you want to run a job with other products like Informatica, you need to install all the connectors for SAP, Salesforce, applications, databases, etc., on the server. With Talend Open Studio, the binary executive will already include all the connectors and the user passwords. It's already included and bound into Java, and we just need a Java virtual machine to run anywhere. Some customers don't want to invest in an ETL and data integration infrastructure. I know at least one customer with huge data volumes using Talend data integration. We have another customer with huge volumes of data using Talend as an OEM, and it's running on Cloudera. Using the solution depends on the clients, the version, and the environment. Our framework is based on code writing. There is a lot of software out there that you have to write code to develop. Many software products are not an integration tool but a code platform. They claim you must have ELT in the database to make it faster. While it is true in some cases, it isn't true in other cases. You need both ETL and ELT for good performance in a solution. Talend Open Studio can do almost everything like a subscription platform. The problem is that it does not support version control and has its own operational cost. It was moving to subscription platforms to save time since time is money. People are using open source to save licenses, but the license is not the most important part. I suggest our customers move to subscriptions and have a more cooperative environment. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I recommend the solution because it has a huge community in which to get support. We have additional connectors from the community and support. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
A scenario where Talend Open Studio has streamlined our company's ETL processes stems from the fact that it helps in areas like performing a CROSS JOIN of data between an ERP tool and a solution for financial data. In Talend Open Studio, the features I have found to be the most beneficial for our company's data workflows stem from the Talend Data Integration, Talend Management Console, and the ability to access Talend Identity and Access Management. Speaking about how Talend Open Studio's user interface or design impacted secure data integration processes, I would say that its users don't have access to areas like Talend Data Stewardship. The users of the product in our company can just consume the data that is loaded in the data warehouse. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I would push Talend Data Integration over Talend Open Studio since the latter is no longer supported. I feel that Talend Data Integration can help users follow dataflow better. I have no idea whether the scalability feature of the product supports my company's business growth. Talend Open Studio is easy to use. Talend Open Studio isn't supported anymore. The difficulty stems from the fact that my organization pushed Talend Open Studio for a lot of small companies that don't have extra IT services. All the big companies use SQL Server or SQL Server Integration Services. It becomes difficult for companies to choose between Talend and SQL Server Integration Services before considering the prices. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.
I rate Talend Open Studio a nine out of ten. It is an interesting tool to learn. It has many components compared to other products. It supports multiple operating systems and platforms.
There is no maintenance required for the product in my company. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.

We can only have one user in the free version. We are now wondering whether we should go for the enterprise version or switch to a different platform, like the HANA platform, HANA cloud, or Datasphere. Or another platform called Encarta. There are multiple technologies we are exploring. It's a good tool overall, but that depends on whether you have the enterprise version. The free version is not for a team in which you have more than one member. In this case, you have to go for the enterprise version, which is a bit expensive. Likewise, you do not get support with the free version, so you won't speak with tech support. There is, however, a community with a knowledge base in forums. You also get the scheduler, the deployment, and everything with the enterprise version. You could deploy the solution on the server and then schedule the jobs. Likewise, you get logging and an audit trail of your jobs. Currently, we maintain these jobs manually. They should make purchasing the servers for the enterprise version a one-time payment, where you buy the server, and that should be it. The yearly cost is what makes Talend not a great tool. Talend is fine if you are only using it for the ETL tools. However, there are other options, such as SSIS, Informatica, and SAP Data Services, which are not promising for Talend Open Studio. Some things are easier with other tools. Talend is logical, but a few things are not very straightforward. If there is an option to choose from other ETL tools, I would rate Informatica number one, in second place, maybe SSIS, and then maybe Talend. If Talend Open Studio is cheaper than other solutions, you can go for it.
I would recommend Open Studio for data operations, but potential customers should be aware of the lack of support and technical expertise Talend provides. I rate Open Studio as six out of ten.
The cost involved is high, we need to select which solution to use, the Open Studio version or the enterprise version. If there is scope for SAP or some paid connectors, we can go with the enterprise version, or the Open Studio version is capable enough to manage the data integration part. I rate Talend Open Studio an eight out of ten.
I rate Talend Open Studion eight out of 10. Talend can do everything that you want to do, but to do the more complex tasks, you need extensive knowledge of IT processes. You need to know what you're doing or you won't' be able to do anything in Talend.

I would say it is a good platform. Give it a start to work on. It actually handles the freshers very nicely. The only drawback as a fresher is lacking the experience which makes it difficult to understand the error message that gets generated on the execution of the job, not in the file. That has been tricky. Because you need to have experience to understand why that error appears in the execution of the job. Otherwise, it's a good platform to have a start on. On a scale of one to ten, I would give Talend Open Studio an 8 to 9. It would be 9 if they added the scheduling of multiple processes. Without that, it is an 8.

It is good for connecting to more than one source. I can manipulate the data from multiple sources. I can manipulate the data from different databases such as SQL Server or Oracle Database. I would rate Talend Open Studio an eight out of ten.

We are the solution provider. We are the company that implements such solutions as Talend. We are not the user of the solutions themselves necessarily. We are the reseller as well as implementation partners and the implementing partner of Talend. We have resources who work on these tools and who implement solutions for our customers. The version of the solution we use varies from client to client, especially for Talend. They have multiple products, including Talend Data Management and Talend's Data Integration Pipeline. A lot of our customers are using the open-source version of Talend. Some are using the licensed version. From those, some are using it for the data stewardship. We deploy both cloud and on-premises models as required. Overall, we've been happy with the product. From a data management perspective, the data preparation, data stewardship and the other features that Talend has, including the MDM, are all extremely important for today's organization. Overall, I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten.

There are many different version of this solution that fits into the customer's needs. We have supplied versions best suited for data management, data integration, pipeline and many others. The version varies from customer to customer and some are using the Open Source Talend. Some are using the licensed version and others for the data stewardship. For those wanting to purchase this solution, there are some important things to consider. This solution has better multiple pre-built connectors than competitors, which is good for any client or any business, because today, in most of the cases, they are dealing with multiple data sources from multiple technologies. Data integration from multiple data sources, I find Talend is extremely helpful. The features in this solution are very important for today's organization. I rate Talend open studio a seven out of ten.
I am an IT Consultant. I use it currently in my job. I'm providing services to a company in Australia, using Talend. I would advise others to use the Studio. If you have to pay for some license to use the key parallelize component, it's a good idea to do it. However, don't use the TAC. Use the other orchestration services like Control-M or AWS functions such as AWS Lambda. Don't use the TAC. The TAC is really ugly. Overall, I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. I'd rate it higher, however, the TAC is unreliable. It's a big part of the solution, and, while I do really appreciate Talend Studio and the ability to link into a producer to make a Java code, which is ugly, I don't care because the job is done anyway. The fact that the orchestration is creating execution plans, from the TAC it's fine. However, when the running of the execution plan, sometimes there are issues. The job remains stuck on the actual server. I've had a lot of issues with TAC.

It is a good enterprise solution. We are about to migrate to a public cloud. They've got lots of extra features when you go to the cloud, especially around data management and data quality. They're definitely a leader. Gartner has included them in the top quadrants. They're just getting a little bit pricey. They've got to be careful of their pricing. I would rate Talend Open Studio an eight out of ten. It is pretty good.
We have a partnership agreement with Talend. While I mostly use the on-prem deployment, for new opportunities, I'm beginning to move towards the cloud. I would recommend this solution. I don't have an opinion about Talend in a big data environment, however. For example, we've got an Azure kind of environment. I don't have a clear idea if it is the best choice for those particular situations. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. If it had better integration to ensure it was up to a government's required quality levels, I'd give it higher marks.
My advice for anybody who is considering this product is that I recommend it and they should try using it. It's not bad and if they know Java and it might be simple for them. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
If you want an information hub, this is a good solution but if you want continuous replication, I wouldn't recommend this solution. Talend is a good tool for data parsing. I'd rate it an eight out of ten. Not a ten because of the continuous replication.
On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate this solution as an eight out of ten. To give the product a higher score they would have to improve several things. This would start with improving technical support. As far as advice that I have for people considering this solution, I think that this is a very good product which will be able to resolve most peoples' business needs. I recommend it for use depending on your business needs and situation.

We are using the AWS public cloud deployment model. I would recommend the product. As long as you follow the best practices you will get what you want out of it. I would rate the solution eight out of ten.
We are totally satisfied with this product. We have not found any problems. It is an open-source, platform-independent, and pretty stable. My only complaint is that the commercial version is very expensive. There are some limits, but the commercial version is unlimited. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.

It's great software for someone who is starting in this area. It covers all the basics. You can work and you can learn from scratch. It's pretty easy to start and to create. It's pretty easy to start and to create an integration. I would rate it a ten out of ten. It's a lot easier to start. You can find a lot of information on the internet. It's a big community. They offer great solutions, which you can use with your use case. If there's a problem you can solve it yourself. With Talend Open Studio you can go to Google and you'll find a lot of different cases with similar problems. If you want to create something, you can create it on your own. You don't need any big expert.
Talend Open Studio is a free, open source ETL tool for data integration and Big Data. The solution enables you to extract diverse datasets and normalize and transform them into a consistent format which can be loaded into a number of third-party databases and applications.
Talend Open Studio Features
Talend Open Studio has many valuable key features. Some of the most useful ones include:
Automatic identification of data types and potential errors
tMap module
Graphical conversion...
