The most important matter for me is the learning and deploy/maintenance curve to integrate into any architecture. Mule is a great fit to work faster in a modern environment, of course, you will be able to connect legacy platforms in both IBM and Mule scenarios. I prefer to orchestrate behind as a part of any legacy integration.

Mule: Faster do deploy, really small footprint that means savings and very good support.
