The solution has a one-time price you need to pay for every device you want to monitor. It depends on the customer because we offer various pricing options. The price ranges from around one hundred euros per device for a personal license, but there may be variations depending on the features and requirements. In many countries, it is expensive for smaller schools looking to upgrade. However, larger institutions may find it more manageable, and it competes favorably with Cisco, offering a more cost-effective solution.
I would rate the pricing a nine out of ten, with one being low (like, really cheap and affordable) and ten being high (really expensive). The device requires a license if it was onboarded earlier or if we need to onboard it now. Similarly, if we need to onboard or switch a device, we request a switch license. So, it's device-based licensing. One device requires one license.
Aruba Airwave's licensing cost is not that expensive. You need to have one license per device for Aruba Airwave. If you need to have redundancy, then there is a redundancy license. Otherwise, you don't need to have a separate license.

We must buy a new license to connect more devices to scale up the solution. If we have ten switches, we'll need ten licenses. If we have one wireless controller and ten switches, we'll need 11 licenses. The licensing price for Airwave is less than Cisco. None of our customers have complained about the cost of this license. Since it's a virtual license, it has a low cost.
I rate AirWave eight out of 10 for affordability. The price depends on the environment, the number of drops, and the years of support you're purchasing.

AirWave is a very expensive solution. If you implement it in a wide range network, it will cost a lot. There is no option to sell it outside that price segment, which is a problem.
I provide straight answers. Licensing and pricing are extremely straightforward. Run a 90 day free Proof of Concept (PoC) for each product by implementing and using it fully in your environment. This way you will be educated on its features, functionality, and manageability.
Offering granular visibility into wired and wireless networks, AirWave is the only management platform designed with mobile devices and apps in mind. By proactively monitoring the health and performance of all things connected, AirWave lets IT gain the insights they need to support the digital workplace.
The tool is expensive. If one is bad or expensive, and ten is very good or cheap, I rate the product's price as a six.
The licensing is on a yearly basis.

The solution is expensive, but it is cheaper than Cisco.
The pricing is fine. It doesn't cost too much. You do not have to pay more for extra features.
The licensing cost for Aruba Airwave increased from $72 to $210 within a few months. It would be better if the pricing for the solution were cheaper.
I would rate this solution an eight out of ten for pricing.

This product is not expensive.
The cost is perfect because the devices have a lifetime warranty, and the licensing is good as well. I have no complaints.
Pricing and licensing are pretty good. I personally don't like the way it's licensed but everybody has their own things about that.
