Cisco and Huawei have the same licensing models, as both migrated from perpetual to subscription-based licensing models. Cisco and Huawei are presenting their devices with the subscription based licensing. If you want any feature, you have to go with the subscriptions offered by the tool.
Cisco can be quite costly, especially if you're looking to implement more advanced or unique configurations. When keeping things relatively straightforward, they are positioned at the higher end of the pricing spectrum. However, it's worth noting that Cisco offers excellent support, a strong global presence, a robust operating system, and highly skilled professionals in the field of networking infrastructure. These advantages come at a premium, and there's a price associated with all these benefits.
I am not sure about the price because it was deployed six or seven years ago, and it's in use currently. Licensing cost has not been much for the last five years. We have the same license working for Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches. So it's very easy and not much complex. Cisco is expensive, but I am not aware of Cisco Switches, especially in terms of what prices were paid during the installation.

Cisco's pricing is very high compared to other products on the market, such as Ruckus and Aruba. I would give the pricing a rating of nine out of ten. Cisco's pricing is relatively high but still somewhat reasonable.

Linksys switches are at the low end of the price range, but that's partly because of where they fit in the whole scheme of things. They're definitely a lower-price option.
The solution is more expensive than competitors such as Ubiquiti, Huawei, and MikroTik but is reliable and worth the money. Heavy networks for big projects should use the solution. An Ubiquiti switch will cost $300 but they charge less for hardware because there are hidden fees for licensing, configurations, and opening ports. A Huawei switch is more expensive at $1,900-$2,100. Cisco is the Cadillac of switches and is the most expensive at $2,500-$5,000 but some of that cost is due to requiring a middleman and shipping to Libya.
The pricing is okay. Depending on the account manager, whether he gives a discount or not will determine the price. Sometimes they give you a 70% discount and sometimes there's no discount. The price is not stable. Comparatively, the pricing is pretty good.
The solution is reasonably priced. It’s not overly expensive. They could be cheaper. However, Cisco is a very respected brand and worth the money. Where we are, the price will fluctuate due to the exchange, so it can go up and down. However, it’s mostly pretty good. I’m not sure of the exact pricing of the solution.

The solution is extremely inexpensive. It's great for small setups as it doesn't cost too much. As I just use it for personal use, I do not pay for a commercial license.
I cannot directly speak to the costs or the licensing agreements that are in place. That's something our supplier deals with. I don't have a real sense of how it works. It's not part of my responsibility.

There can be limited features for the solution based on the pricing of the package you choose. You will need to pay more to get more performance. However, the router can perform even better with certain extra costs. For example, if you can perform 200 Mbps throughput but I want a 1 Gbps throughput, I have to pay more or purchase more licenses. Additionally, If I want to use the SD-WAN feature, I have to purchase a different license and install the operating license. Sometimes the budgets do not fit all these types of upgrades that become expensive. We are on a yearly license for this solution. We have a procurement process in which we have to plan ahead one to two years. We have to determine which branches have to support the data communication network and have a proposal for the future to be agreed upon. If no agreement is made, then we have to continue the procurement process for an eventual successful agreement in the future.

Cisco switches are a little expensive when it comes to the price. We are starting to phase out of the sale of these because of the higher price. Cisco licenses are renewed every year.
