My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Cloudian HyperStore indicates that it is a cheap product, and the licenses are cheap as well. When comparing them to other competitors for actual hardware, it is the cheaper option. If one had a use case for a small cluster for S3, it would be a good solution, but I think solutions such as Wasabi are perhaps the better option for smaller deployments. Overall, it is still cheap.

When compared with non-real S3 solutions, it may seem more expensive, but it delivers many additional features.
