Regarding the pricing of this solution, I would say it's somewhere in the middle because at the bottom you have free solutions and at the top the most expensive ones.

Currently, no cost is involved with a virtual load balancer. They have used open source. We did not pay for software. We paid for the expertise. We are only paying the consulting charges, which are very reasonable, that is, around a thousand dollars.
I would advise them to take advantage of the trials and support. Use the support to set it up exactly the way you want and see how much actually need to pay for.

We did hire a 3rd party professional service contractor for the setup, however, he was already used to implement the Exchange build-out. This added some cost to it but may have not been needed since the Kemp design and initial config seems very straightforward. Purchasers may want to consider this setup expense depending on their own staff confidence level.

The installation and setup are really easy if you refer to the documentation. Or, you can pay a maximum of two hours for a consultant and they can help. The vendor's tech support is really helpful, as well.

This cost of this solution is not high, and cheaper than their competitors. The license varies according to the number of megabits. For example, a 200Meg license can handle two hundred megabits per second, concurrently. If you need more then you just upgrade the license.
Kemp LoadMaster is a powerful load balancing solution that also serves as a web application firewall. Its primary use case is load balancing and application load balancing, making it an ideal solution for organizations that must distribute traffic across multiple servers. Kemp's integration with an active directory for ESP usage, hosting/deployment of SSL certificates, and pricing are some of its most valuable features.
Using Kemp has helped organizations mitigate cross-scripting...
LoadMaster is cheaper than some other solutions. It has a perpetual license, so it's a one-time cost.
The price of the solution is cheap.
The pricing is alright and we pay a monthly licensing fee
Regarding the pricing of this solution, I would say it's somewhere in the middle because at the bottom you have free solutions and at the top the most expensive ones.
I believe this solution has the best pricing in the market. It is a corporate price.
We pay around $10,000 a year for licensing. There are no additional costs.
The Kemp LoadMaster is a tremendous value. It works well and is easy to set up and to maintain.
At $2,500 USD, this is absolutely a fantastic buy for the money!
The product definitely provides what the organization needs and its cost is reasonable considering the value it brings.
Setup is easy, the cost is affordable, and the licensing is quick and simple.

From a cost perspective, Kemp is very competitive and is not hard to justify by any means.
It is well-priced and licensing is very flexible.
The price is great and the value is definitely there.
This is a cost-efficient product.
You won't need anything they offer great support and licensing was super easy.
Set up was easy; nothing is cheap nowadays but it is well worth the cost

The costs for the Kemp Load Balancer solution are okay because, for a good product, you have to spend money.
This product has good value and features for the money.
Pricing for the perpetual licensing was fair to us for the features and ease of use we received.
Nowadays, going with the virtual appliance is the easiest way and the cost is reasonable.

Any decent product will cost money and if you want great support and a great product, then you will want to spend the money on it.
KEMP NLB is on the cheaper side of the spectrum but works great. If your license expires it will still run just you won't be able to do any changes.
There must be a balance between cost and features. Going opensource usually goes up in terms of learning/training cost.
Licensing is yearly and I am going to guess that it is CAN $2000.00. There are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees.

The price is fine for their solution and what they give back from the product.
