Customers need to pay for a license for Intercept X Endpoint based on the number of users and servers they have. The pricing is considered normal and not overly expensive.
Intercept X Endpoint is an expensive solution. On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing ten out of ten.
The price of Sophos Intercept X is expensive. The license is paid on an annual basis. There are extra features that can be added depending on the endpoints. The solution is priced twice as much as the Comodo solution.
We have paid for three years of licensing. It is expensive, however, for what you getting out of it, from the firewall side and to endpoint protection, everything seems to be worth it.

It is an annual subscription, rather than a monthly one. It's paid annually. You can pay monthly, but most of our customers choose annual subscriptions because they are less expensive. It could be less expensive. We would be grateful because there are cheaper antivirus solutions and cheaper endpoint solutions on the market, but they do not have the same features. We defend Sophos to our customers and explain why they should choose Sophos. There are also products that are more expensive on the market. Sophos is not the cheapest, and it is not the most expensive. It's in the middle.

You are able to purchase more licenses for the number of devices or servers that you require. There are many other features available but our license does not include them, such as XDR, which is endpoint detection and response. We have not explored the new features as of yet but plan to in the coming future.
While I do not have much experience dealing with the price, we have been entitled to a substantial discount on the solution in our use of it as an educational tool.

I do not know the exact costs offhand, however, it's my understanding that their pricing is listed publicly on their site and would be easy to find. Sophos seemed surprised that their pricing was public. They were shocked that I could just Google it and it came up. There are extra add-ons you can purchase over and above this product. The add-ons cost a bit more, however, they offer extra security advantages.

I am not sure about the cost. I would guess it to be between $50 to $60 per license. This would be the cost of the overall subscription. There is no additional fee.

If you start with the standard solution, move to Intercept X, and then go to the EDR version, it's almost double the price in comparison to other vendors. It's a choice for any company. Check Point's SandBlast, for example, has two payables but the additional payable includes encrypting your hard drive - not everyone needs that feature.
It doesn't have every function that's out there in the universe. However, it's really quite good and it's a reasonable value for the money compared to some of the alternatives that I've seen. However, I'm not super familiar with the alternatives. I know their names, I kind of know what they do, I read the reviews on your site and others, and we're always looking at it, however, I haven't really studied them.

Licensing is based on the number of users. They give a discount for editors who are considered as important members. From what I know, Sophos products are not expensive. If you have a license extension, you just need to contact the editor or partner to change the mode of licensing or extend the license to cover more people.

We were able to eliminate the ransomware using the one-month, full-featured trial license. Our intention now is to upgrade our systems to the full product. We were given a corporate rate. Our licensing includes local support for each of our offices, nationwide. This something that we like.

I can justify the pricing for customers and I can explain what they're doing from a pricing standpoint in terms of the different risks that they're handling. I'm all about risk management. Unfortunately, we lose awareness of that, the calculus that goes into that when nothing's going wrong. You have to ask: what are you trying to protect? What are you willing to spend to protect that, and what's your expected loss if something happens? You have to look at all things and then decide if the number is fair. I'd argue that it is.
When you start going to the EDR technologies and the MTR, it is a little bit expensive. It's a very good technology, and obviously, you're going to pay for it, but the pricing could do a little bit of work.
