I rate Splunk SOAR two out of 10 for affordability. Splunk is a fast enterprise tool, but it costs too much. At the same time, it's worth what we pay, in my opinion. We can efficiently perform all the functions and tie together the data. It's the perfect tool for our needs.
The cost is as expected. It can be a bit high, however, we get a better rate between us and our third party. We provide services to clients if they purchase Splunk SOAR which gives them good value.

I have heard they are changing pricing, not possibly for the better. In comparison to the other vendors we looked at, they're all in the same ballpark of what they should be billing on. SOAR makes the most sense out of all of them, in terms of the billing factors.

One of the biggest factors that helped the management to decide to switch to Splunk SOAR was its cost. The solution's cost model, Mission Control, and other features make it cost-effective.

I don't remember Splunk SOAR's price off the top of my head. Still, I believe it was a solid value because of the time saved, consistent results that are reproducible, integration with multiple systems, etc. The benefits justify the cost.
While the pricing is high, I don't care as long as the enterprise pays for it. For developers, it is free for 6 months and 500 GBs of ingestion per day. From an enterprise standpoint, I'd rate the pricing ten out of ten as they are doing a great job and we are getting value for what we pay.

Usually, you have a yearly license. However, Splunk must be more flexible and they have to be more sensitive about this topic. My understanding is that they're working on a new pricing model.
Splunk Phantom follows very flat pricing and most of the time it's very high when compared to the other competitors. They can improve their pricing. The licensing model is a subscription and is consumption-based.
We use a community license. We don't have to pay for any actual licensing. However, the solution, when you have a paid version, is quite costly. That said, in terms of performance, it's worth the extra cost. Also, it's my understanding that everything is included in the licensing cost, once you pay for the product. There aren't any added fees.

It is a subscription-based licensing model that varies depending on how much data is processed by Spunk. There are built-in volume discounts. There are some additional costs if you want to get some front-end support or installation or setup, which is part of professional services. There are also some modules, such as analytics, that Splunk will provide for an additional fee.

I found the price of Splunk SOAR to be good.
Everything good comes with a price. The tool is not cheap. However, if we use it to its full potential, it will be beneficial.
The cost is high and the licensing is on an annual basis.
I'm not aware of the exact pricing.
The licensing cost is reasonable.
Splunk SOAR is an expensive solution for an organization of our size. I don't like the solution's licensing model.

It's very overpriced because it is based on the number of users. There is no bulk licensing.

The solution’s pricing is costing at some points.

I don't handle the pricing aspect of the product.

The solution is for our clients so we don't deal with the licensing aspect.
