We have used the solution for IPS, IDS, and security incident response. We have used Defender as an antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection. We used Intune for endpoint management and endpoint detection response. We use Purview for insider threats, data leakage detection and response, and data classification. You can use the Azure security policies to enforce your compliance objectives. We also used web firewalls and identity governance, which is a security feature or can be used as such.
We have a product that helps with billing on Azure Stack. Our solution makes it easier for users to manage internal chargebacks or for resellers to provide a billing system for Azure Stack. We have our own tool that supports Azure Stack as a platform. We've been supporting it for almost four years now. We are an ISP partner for Microsoft. Our solution is industry-agnostic, as Azure Stack itself has broad applicability. Our billing support is helping a lot of customers. We've been able to consolidate billing onto a single platform, our Cloud platform. This is supporting many clients, as Azure doesn't have a native billing component. We provide that, and we can handle billing for both Azure Stack and Azure within a single platform. That's our product. For example, if a reseller has deployed Azure Stack for a customer, we provide the billing functionality. Our tool can manage billing for both Azure Stack and Azure through a single platform. We're actually multi-cloud; our consolidated platform supports AWS, Azure, Azure Stack, GCP, OCI, and more – all the billing can be done through one interface. We're quite unique. We haven't seen any competitors offering what we do right now – multi-cloud billing with extensive on-premises support. We're in the process of adding VMware as well. With this, we become a truly complete billing platform, also offering optimizations and other features both on-premises and in the cloud. That's what we do, and why we work with multiple clouds.

Azure Stack is a well-suited solution, especially for small to medium-sized businesses. While its scalability for large corporations is still untested, it is an excellent option for smaller enterprises looking to leverage the entire Azure platform. Azure offers a wide range of services, catering to various needs. For those interested in no-code or low-code automation, Microsoft provides the Power Platform, which includes tools like Power Apps for automation, Power Pivot, and more. These are ideal for teams or departments looking to streamline processes. If someone wants to use Azure as an enterprise data platform, they offer good solutions like Azure Data Lake, specifically using ADX Gen 2 for enterprise storage, which is commonly used. It pairs well with Databricks, especially when handling performance-intensive tasks, as Azure Synapse can be expensive for certain scenarios, such as data warehousing. For typical ETL tasks using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Storage, the costs are quite reasonable.
Our company's customers consume the products installed from Azure Stack, so that is the usage of Azure Stack for our company. Speaking about Azure Stack from a financial perspective, if I have to talk about ERR, it is approximately 4,000 USD per month.
We use the analytics side of Azure Stack extensively. I use Azure Stack for advanced analytics, AI machine learning, and business intelligence to report and interpret data. We also use the solution to store our data repositories from a data lake perspective.

Our primary use cases are computing, data platform along with migrating event-driven architecture. We use a lot of data bricks and data components. From the integration to data, and from the application deployment perspective to the platform as a service.
We are using it in our company and the customer's company as well. So, it works on both sides. For certain development environments, we need to build our internal environment, and we need it for that. Similarly, we need to build the production environment for the customer, and we use it for that.

The solution is geared towards customers with large Microsoft footprints, in which it is very advanced. There is tight integration in respect of Microsoft workloads and extremely intelligent performance. Customers can use it to run SQL Server, Active Directory, VDI, Windows Server and other workloads. Many users use it for their dynamics, although I am not aware of a lot of deployments with SAP HANA. One who has a 60 or 70 percent footprint in the data center with Microsoft can save a lot.
I recommend Azure Stack 100% for hybrid cases, dev & test, banking, financial (banking, insurance) , healthcare, public sector. Also, The assessments include the following standards: •PCI-DSS addresses the payment card industry. •CSA Cloud Control Matrix is a comprehensive mapping across multiple standards, including FedRAMP Moderate, ISO27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, ITAR, NIST SP800-53, and others. •FedRAMP High for government customers. The compliance documentation can be found on the Microsoft Service Trust Portal. The compliance guides are a protected resource and require you to sign in with your Azure cloud service credentials.

We're getting more serious with Office 365 now. We start from the mailbox, the mail server exchange, and then we also have SharePoint. We have migrated all the local network drives, shared drives, home drives, to Office 365 SharePoint. We have been making use of the document library for sharing, and this year, we've started to use more of Microsoft Teams as a kind of collaboration, for online meetings within the organization and also to communicate with our students. Microsoft Teams is not the only software that we use, we also use Zoom for class meetings, and then Microsoft Teams for team meetings, really. As an education provider, we have many students — over a thousand students actually; they are also the users of this domain. We also have 250 permanent and casual staff, it's quite a big number.

As we learn more about this product, security-wise, and about the tools that are available, we can apply this to what our customers are looking for.

We are using the Microsoft Azure Stack Development Kit (ASDK) in an evaluation environment issued by Microsoft, and not in a production environment. It is deployed within a VM on top of the Azure public cloud. The goal of our evaluation is to see if it is sufficient to support becoming a cloud provider for companies in our local market.
