In the user environment the client has different queries so reports are needed to understand the size of the data that will be backed up for a week or a month. Basing on that we can forecast the size to which the data will grow. For instance, if a backup is is failing continuously for three days, days, then it triggers an alert for us so that customer can pay some attention.
