In India, most enterprise customers who adopt Apple as a platform prefer Jamf Pro as a solution. It offers a wide range of features and user productivity solutions, including Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect. Many enterprises use it to manage their Apple fleets, especially those who are premium customers and can afford the price.
Jamf Pro is designed to manage Apple devices. It allows you to oversee all your macOS, iOS, iPadOS and VisionOS devices from a single console. This unified dashboard simplifies device management, making performing various administrative tasks easier. Jamf Pro provides same-day support for new macOS releases, which helps avoid potential challenges when managing devices during updates. Unlike Intune, which supports multiple platforms, Jamf Pro focuses exclusively on Apple environments, except for WatchOS.

I use Jamf Pro primarily for managing Apple devices in our organization, focusing on both shared and one-to-one iPads in classrooms. We utilize it to deploy apps and handle updates, although we faced challenges due to the previous technician's Band-Aid approach, resulting in a majority of iPads running outdated iOS versions.
We use Jamf Pro to manage our Apple devices throughout our worldwide locations in both our offices and manufacturing factories. We deploy both iOS and macOS devices such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs. Jamf Pro is essential to our IT and InfoSec teams. It is used to deploy applications, update software versions, and offer patch management. We also set restrictions or push custom applications via configuration profiles and policies depending on department and role. Jamf Pro inventory updates are also essential for meeting our metrics and security goals & standards.

We use it for our iPads and for all our Macs for our university. We use it for the installs. We're trying to get that automated, and our end goal is that it's zero-touch or as close to zero-touch as possible. We're working our way so that we configure it, and it will set up all the applications needed for the specific user. If they need other ones, they'll be in self-service, or we'll figure something out based on the frequency of the specific app and how many people need it. If it's a one-off or if it's something that a department needs, we can make adjustments based on that. We have a private cloud deployment, and the cloud provider is Jamf.
We are a medium-sized company, and our fleet is 95% Macs. Jamf helps us to manage Macs remotely via an intuitive dashboard. Managing macOS can get difficult sometimes without the help of an MDM. With Jamf, I have control of the fleet with a few clicks. Being able to update third-party applications without the need for other external tools is another plus. With minor modifications, we were able to have an almost zero-touch deployment. This way, we know that all Macs will always have the same configurations. We are also working on the self-service app, which has a lot of potential.
We are a small yet busy design studio. We don't have an internal IT department, so I needed a solution to standardize our Mac fleet. Jamf helped me manage our Macs, so I didn't have to install or update all the software manually. When the COVID lockdown came, I managed all the Macs from the Jamf dashboard. Everyone lives far apart, so being able to deploy updates was important. If someone needed a new computer, I could talk them through the process instead of doing it myself.

We use the solution to be able to manage devices remotely, especially now since our environment is 1:1. Each student has their own iPad or MacBook if they are in 8th grade or above. Each teacher also has their own MacBook Pro and iPad. Jamf Pro helps us easily configure devices and deploy them without having to do so much manual setup. We also use Jamf to push out apps that teachers or students need, as well as send software updates to those devices. Jamf Connect also works with Jamf Pro to bridge the gap of syncing your local Mac password with your IDP password, so we use Jamf to do this rather than binding our machines to Microsoft AD.
We manage a one-to-one hybrid work environment of 800 Macs with Jamf Pro. We can manage OS and Software Updates, Wifi, and security protocols and have deep environment insight to assist remote workers.
I manage 1000+ Macs and 200+ iPads from Jamf. I am able to manage software and application updates, pull reports, and scope out certain policies and configuration profiles to a specific set of computers or mobile devices, all from a single pane of glass. I can also leverage a seamless enrollment for our computers when we onboard new employees within our company. I can leverage smart groups and API calls for certain automation workflows that help the overall goal of managing and maintaining our computers.
We use this program to manage all of our Apple devices in our different locations. We have Zoom rooms set up that use iPads that we configure to stay in single app mode so users are unable to change anything. We also use it to manage the kiosk we have set up when we have guests. We have also implemented a BYOD policy where we have users sign up with Jamf and it allows us to push apps from our business to their phones. It's nice. We also make sure they select the "personally-owned" option so we don't accidentally take full control of their device.
We use it so that managing developers for Macs and software developers that need to have freedom but align that need with BAFIN-controlled regulations. We have had Workspace One previous to the actual MDM Solution for iOS devices in place. It is horrible to set up and to work with in terms of building policies and configurations. We chose JAMF as our vendor to get something new and to help with setups. Jamf is intuitive. The biggest benefit is the Jamf Nation where all IT Professionals who love to help each other can get together.
We are a kindergarten to eighth grade school district in Illinois and we have the need to manage our student and teacher devices. We manage a total of 1,600 devices between macOS laptops and Apple iPads. As students move between grade levels and application needs changes. In addition, we need to make it easy so our students and teachers don't need to worry about making tech work, but instead can pick up and use devices without needing many tech skills. We also want to make sure multiple users in our organization have the ability to manage devices.
Jamf is the best available MDM solution for Apple devices and there is no comparison in the market. I have been using Jamf services for years and am happy to say that Jamf welcomes more and more capability to its product line. There is also zero-day support to all new Apple OS. I would recommend Jamf to you if you need solutions for software delivery, hardware and software inventory and its usage, cloud-based services, role-based administration and audit reports, cross-platform support, its ease of use, simplification, automation, integration and patch management. We would also take some time to look at additional product cycles around Jamf Pro, including Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect. Jamf Connect is a cloud-based solution that streamlines Mac authentication and identity management. Jamf Protect is an endpoint protection solution built exclusively for Mac devices.
We need remote hardware and software management. We are a half on-site half offsite workforce over two office locations. We need to be able to deploy hardware and software catered to each department at a quick pace. Jamf works perfectly for this. The ability to script executions of CLI-based solutions is second to none. We needed an MDM solution that would meet our InfoSec needs on data/hardware/software deployment. We also needed a way to revoke the same data/hardware/software if required. Jamf filled all of these needs.

We use Jamf Pro to set up and keep all our Macs and iOS devices up to date and make sure all our corporation's software is installed. It's our main MDM solution for macOS and iOS, covering about 2100 mac devices and 900 mobile devices. MDM commands and policies let us distribute scripts all over our fleet, allowing us to be able to transform our systems to the desired systems we want. Security was increased and lots of manual interventions were no longer necessary. The gain of time was enormous for our small staff, managing all those devices for about 800-1000 teachers and 4000 pupils. Later on, VPP made life easier with ipads as app distribution was simplified once more.
In our company we are managing 5 clients - all using Jamf Pro. Our primary use case is to provision a big number of devices (located around the globe) with applications, network configurations, security settings, VPN configurations, printer setups, operating system patches, etc. Jamf Pro fits our needs in one hundred percent of the cases and helps us satisfy our customers. It’s a leading MDM that has the biggest number of features compared to other solutions (such as Microsoft Intune, Workspace One, or Quest Kace).

We are using Jamf Pro to manage all of our macOS, iOS, iPad OS, and tvOS devices, which totals ~200 devices. We have just recently started using Jamf Protect and hoping to start using Jamf Connect. We are a small cybersecurity firm and all of our users are Mac users. We don't have any Windows end-user clients in our environment. Our users don't have admin rights on their systems, so all changes to the systems are being pushed out and managed via the Jamf platform. Jamf Protect is a recent purchase, however, it has been very useful in getting greater insights into the built-in Apple security tools.

Our primary use case is managing our one-to-one iPad environment for our lower school students and maximizing our efficiency. By utilizing Configuration profiles, we are able to push out all of our apps to our classroom sets of one-to-one iPads. They install without us having to handle the devices, and then auto-update. We can then wipe the iPads all at once at the end of the year, by simply performing the startup procedure, everything will reset for the next school year. Ultimately, it saves us a lot of time and headaches.
The primary use case is to manage everything Apple in our environment. This includes everything from assigning the asset to the user, controlling licensing via the App Store, custom policies, and configurations. The goal is to ease the burden on our Service Desk, while also enabling the user to be more self-sufficient. In the past, I have used many MDM solutions and most of the time it came down to poor documentation with them compared to Jamf. We found the resources provided were more then enough to get us up and running. Plus, the continued support from their staff has been awesome!
We are a solution provider and we resell Jamf Pro, as well as provide managed services, and we are also a support partner. I am also a Jamf integrator and I train people on its usage.
Jamf Pro is used to manage our fleet of Apple devices consisting of both macOS & iOS devices. With Jamf, we are able to effortlessly deploy devices, in a consistent manner, with minimal involvement from IT team members.

We are now starting to integrate with certificates for our new wireless system and it has been wonderful to work with the teams at Jamf. Jamf Pro has helped us to have the best management for all of our devices. I was a manager of iOS devices in the past, and it was extremely cumbersome to use some of the other software out there. We want to manage unmanaged macOS devices using Jamf Pro Cloud Solution. Secondly, we want to migrate Intune-managed macOS devices to Jamf Pro. We would like to comply with our company security policies that we achieved using CIS Benchmarks. We want to manage productivity applications such as Office 365 suite apps, VPN, Google Chrome, NoMAD, and other business apps as required in real-time. Our users want to access intranet sites, which we were able to achieve smoothly. Finally, we are able to manage the admin rights process on macOS.
We manage about 2,300 macs in our enterprise. Most of the devices are used by developers. Right now, we manage only basics in our mac fleet. Like having a compliant mac, get the VPN Anti Virus, Firewall NoMAD, and other basic software on it. Also, users have the option to get additional software via self-service. So, when a user gets a device from us, it is pretty "vanilla" and they can customize the device themself. Additionally, we configure the device for printing and proxy usage. We are aiming to manage a lot more with Jamf, which is certainly possible. At some point, we also want to make the mac available for all users, not just developers. Jamf will immensely help us with this goal.

We have a mixed Windows/Mac environment, and needed a good MDM solution to efficiently handle the Mac side. We use Jamf Pro to image and deploy new systems utilizing DEP and pre-stage enrollment. We also push out policies and configurations to install software and settings for specific users that are role-based. With Jamf Pro, we're able to work fully remote as an IT team, which is something that would have been very difficult prior to its implementation. Luckily we installed the software before Covid!
We manage our Macs entirely with this solution and have it tied to our directory. Users, apps, and settings are all managed in this tool. We create accounts at first start, with their directory credentials. It encrypts the disk, it reports back stats and installs the most important apps for them. It also saves time with setting up mail, having optional apps in self-service, etc. With our setup, it's a complete tool for managing our fleet of Macs and iPhones. It saves time, keeps us secure, and is easy to use.
Our main use of Jamf is to manage our ever-growing Apple environment. We are 90:10 Windows to Mac ration environment which means that the adoption rates for macOS are also increasing after our pilot project for our choice program. Although we're predominantly a Windows environment we've had challenges integrating our macOS devices but Jamf has made it simple with compliance deployments and when it comes to pushing out security patches and monitoring the devices remotely. It also helps monitor devices in our zero-trust environment.

In my highly secure government infrastructures, Jamf is an absolute must for staying in tune with continuous monitoring (critical patching, STIG application, and reporting), especially from a central location. When we were in pursuit of our authority to operate, we were almost shut down by a Windows-specific IA group until I explained what Jamf was and how it would help implement and prove how secure Macs can be.
We primarily use the solution for MDM management of over 5500 iOS devices and 300 MacOS devices.
The main use case is for device management.
We manage macOS and iOS devices using Jamf Pro. We are a K through 12 school district and have single users and shared devices. We use Jamf Pro to set up and keep all our Macs and iOS devices up to date and make sure all our corporation's software is installed. Jamf has the ability to not only deploy configuration profiles but also deploy management policies. This allows for a total deployment tool to manage all aspects of our fleet.
We use Jamf Pro to automate device management.
We primarily use the solution for managing our iPad Program.
The primary web application is responsible for syncing data from the configured Apple School Manager instance and Jamf Pro. This includes recurring scheduled syncs, as well as manually initiated syncs performed while logged in to a secondary web application. This monitor collects information about devices that have been added to Automated Device Enrolment (formerly DEP) portals and assigned to the Jamf Pro MDM server. It is run by the primary web application. Any manually initiated refreshes are performed by the web application the user is logged in to.
We use Jamf to manage our school's new 1:1 inventory of devices. Everything is in one place for our OS X and iOS deployments. Jamf has made it so that I don't have to worry about anything.
We use Jamf Pro Cloud to manage 500+ Apple iPads, MacBook Airs, and Mac minis across both our campus and distance learning environments with 50+ employees and 300 students. Jamf Pro facilitates all device provisioning, software deployment, security profiles, and network access. The printer setup is managed by static groups. Device monitoring is simple using smart groups to monitor for device health, battery charge, storage, and OS version, among other options. Jamf Pro Cloud is simple to use, powerful and it empowers our IT workflow to provide excellence in customer service.
Our primary use case is automated enrollment for clients. We use Apple Business Manager and leverage it for new computers. For existing computers, I created an automated enrollment process, enlisting machines that can remotely wipe and re-install the OS and bring down the entire suite of applications on enrollment, which is very powerful.
I use this product to manage Mac devices in the enterprise, from profile configurations to security compliance and core applications.
Easy management of Apple devices such as patch management, internal self-service portal & many more.
I used it in a school environment where we use it to download student's profiles and keep them connected to their Outlook, et cetera.
After that, it was a requirement for our ATO to even be considered, much less approved.
We use Jamf Pro to manage 1300+ iPads for students and teachers, as well as 100+ MacBooks for teachers and several Apple TVs for classrooms. We push out apps and software, manage updates, and restrict content. We keep our users working and focused on what they should be doing during school, while giving them freedom to do what they want to do in off-hours, in a safe environment. We get alerts when users violate policies and can take immediate action to disable a device if need be. We can also find lost iPads using Lost Mode.
We use Jamf to deploy our Macs and iPads. We have 700 Macs and 700 iPads that we manage using Jamf. We typically refresh around 200 new devices every year. This is a lot to manage. We can give a user an iPad still in the box and when they open it, they log into the device using their network credentials and Jamf sets up and configures the device automatically. For Macs, we have minimal set up prior to deployment. Jamf installs all of our company applications and then we use Jamf to keep the Mac up to date.
The primary use case for us is MyChart Bedside, as we work to provide in-house iPads for different areas of our hospital. The iPads have entertainment apps, as well as tools to help improve their stay in our hospital. We also use this solution for macOS deployment. We use the hosted Jamf Pro and cloud app shares. We internally use Jamf for the healthcare listener and the AD proxy.
We are a school district with iPads 3:1 for K-1, 2:1 for 2-3 and 1:1 for grades 4-12. Ninety-five percent of our staff are using MacBooks. We have about forty-five hundred devices in total that we use Jamf Pro to manage. We use Jamf Pro to push out apps to our staff and students, to set certain restrictions for our students, and to make the best user experience possible.
Using this solution has brought order to chaos. We use Jamf to manage labs and laptops. It was a huge pain bringing in the different Mac computers/setups/software under one roof. No one knows what life was like before automated enrollment (formerly DEP). We currently are on-premises but are strongly moving toward the cloud. I think the price difference to NOT MANAGE our own servers is small compared to saving me hours of headaches looking for and testing solutions/upgrades.
We use this solution for device management across a large school. MDM solutions. We have over two hundred staff and fifteen-hundred students. Jamf Pro allows us to manage all devices across the school remotely and push out any policies, software updates, and applications as needed. We can do all this from the comfort of the IT office, allowing us to focus more on the education around technology, rather than keeping the technology running itself.
We use Jamf Pro to manage all of our one-thousand-plus Apple devices. We use Jamf for setting up re-stage enrolments and deploy them with the help of DEP and distribute device configurations and other software/applications for iMacs, Macbooks, and iPads. Its something we use every day.
We deploy and manage over twenty thousand Apple devices in our enterprise, all across the state on NC and the UNC system. We use Jamf to set up and deploy Macs, iPads, and AppleTVs out of the box and directly to the users. Then we use Jamf to manage the devices throughout the entire lifecycle.
We use this solution to manage all of our company devices. We have both iOS and macOS devices internally. We also use it for license management for some of the other tools we use in-house. It's a great way to keep track of all of our licenses and the software we use daily.
We use this solution for device management. We have multiple locations, as well as remote workers. Our entire workforce use Apple tech. Therefore, Jamf allows us to manage all of our end-user technology from one place. This includes pushing apps, profiles (restrictions, settings, etc.), and more.
I use this solution for device management, software pushes, basic troubleshooting, OS upgrades, etc. I Use Jamf for just about all of it! We have about one hundred users that are managed through Jamf, mostly our Marketing and Creative teams. About twenty percent of our organization is on Mac.
I use Jamf Pro to manage every Apple device in our organization including Mac computers, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs. It's connected with Apple Business Manager. In our environment, there are also PCs and Android devices but these are managed by other dedicated software for the corresponding ecosystem.
Our primary use case is managing Mac systems in a large environment.
We use this solution to manage over seven thousand iPads, three hundred and fifty Apple TV’s and eighteen hundred computers, with one wonderful system. We push apps out and have control over systems that you otherwise would not have.

Managing a large fleet of Apple devices, both Mac and iOS. We monitor our Apple inventory to make sure everything is running smooth.
We offer software to users via self-service and push applications out for major security releases when needed. We also use it to block software from running. Aside from software distribution we also use it for management of security settings and monitoring of systems for security compliance.
We use Jamf Pro to manage our fleet of Macs and iPads. With Jamf, we can now do so much more. Reporting to our management team is critical. We can gather information quickly, and this allows us to make smart decisions.
