The difficulty with the tool is in the area of troubleshooting. The problem that we have in our company is that the switches don't get connected properly. In the future, I want to see AI in the tool. The tool's pricing part can be improved.

The solution’s initial setup is very complex. We need to limit the number of Aruba Instant On Switches to certain areas because they sometimes cut off the link. The solution has to be more stable.
Speed is an area of the product with certain shortcomings where improvements are required. The product's startup speed is very bad, as it is very slow. It takes around eight minutes to start up the firmware. The tool has to be easy to configure, especially when compared with NETGEAR, Cisco, and HPE. There is an easy way to configure with vendors other than Aruba.
You can only put one VLAN on the AP in the Instant On model, but you can put many VLANs on the AP in the price model. You can only use one network on the Instant On AP. You cannot use many VLANs, like VLAN 10, VLAN 20, VLAN 30, and VLAN 100 on Aruba Instant On AP.

We are interested in acquiring a firewall that provides a comprehensive solution. In other words, we're seeking a firewall that encompasses multiple aspects, such as exceptional switches and active phone functionalities. Our goal is to have a unified system that allows us to monitor and manage everything from a single panel, making it the most effective way to oversee all the network traffic and related activities.

The product's drawbacks are limited. Aruba Instant On Switches doesn't provide my company with the flexibility that we were expecting from it. The scalability of the product is also limited, because of which we cannot install it on a large scale in our company. In my company, we cannot manage Aruba Instant On Switches in a very easy manner, making the overall tool a little bit complicated to set up and run. The aforementioned areas can be considered for improvement in the solution. In the future, I would like to see Aruba Instant On Switches with some AI features that can help run and operate the network while also helping its users spot any issues and fix them.
The solution does not have any console access. For example, if you do not have internet access on your side and you need to configure anything, you should at least have CLI access to do something or manage the solution to put to some IP. It will only work if we have a TSCT on the network. We can port and configure the initial settings before we get the Instant On Switches. I am not working deeply on Instant On devices. I have only installed it in a couple of accommodation sites. Even today, one customer has ordered to install 80 pieces of Instant On. I’ve to order additional 94 access points. I was confused about whether to go with Aruba Instant On or AP-505. Instant On has limited accessibility but AP-505 have cloud or local access on normal infrastructure. This would be better and easier to configure. So, there are further improvements in regard to console access and some limitations with access.

The solution’s GUI should be improved a bit. Nowadays, nobody wants to use CLI (command-line interface). Nobody wants to type a command because they don't have the time to remember it. Hence, they prefer to use GUI products.
Instant On Switches' layer 3 and visibility could be improved. In the next release, Instant On Switches should include a bulk configuration feature for selecting multiple interfaces at the same time.
Configuring the switches can take some time. The startup and booting take some time. It's too slow. We would like to see more documentation. Being more expensive than its competitors, Aruba should include more features, documentation being one of them.

In general, mostly in Instant On series, if we could have much more control on the switches, at least. We'd like a CLI access so that, when we want to do some advanced configurations we could. That would be very beneficial.

The solution isn’t too scalable. That said, it is effective in what it does. Room for improvement would be if they consolidated administration from multiple locations.
The Aruba Instant On 1930 switches features advanced, smart-managed, fixed configuration Gigabit switches designed for small businesses that are easy-to-deploy and affordable. They’re made to handle today’s bandwidth-heavy applications like voice and video conferencing, enabling consistent connectivity to enhance performance. Using either the Instant On mobile app or the cloud-based web portal, you can quickly set up, monitor and manage the 1930 switch series from anywhere at any time....

Improvements are required in the product's price. I want it to be cheaper.

Some L3 features could be included in the solution.
The app's simplicity, particularly the interface, could be improved. Despite this, the functionality is robust.
The solution neither offers advanced features nor security. It could have an MSP portal version.
They could provide additional uplink ports, such as eight instead of four. It will be beneficial for our use case.

The product must be integrated with Aruba Central for better management.
Some customers have made complaints about Aruba Instant On Switches' stability.

In the next version, they should add a firewall from a single source.
Tracking with instant switches needs improvement.

They should extend the marketing and talk about Aruba's success stories throughout the region.

There is always room to improve the coverage area. The price has room for improvement.
