So far, when it comes to security, it meets our needs and requirements, so I have nothing to say about improvements to their services. I do not find any areas needing improvement currently.

The initial setup appears to be the hardest part, although once familiar with it, the process becomes easier. Pricing remains challenging, especially for SMEs, making cloud services costlier than on-premises solutions.
I would like the ability to query and filter documents to download them according to specific criteria. Additionally, dedicated support lines or chat features with agents to help solve problems quickly would be beneficial. A feature allowing for partial document retrieval or more advanced querying would also improve the service.
Sometimes, I'm not too fond of privacy policies, especially when using certain features like Gemini AI, where agreeing to the terms might mean losing access to your history. One area for improvement is document retrieval—sometimes, it's hard to find documents because the file names aren't always recognizable, and the preview feature could be more efficient. Maintenance for Google Cloud Storage is minimal, but it would be helpful to have a tool that automatically removes duplicate versions of files to save space. The file management in Google Cloud and Workspace isn't very straightforward, which could be improved. Regarding AI integration, I'm generally satisfied with how AI is integrated into Google Cloud Storage. It works well for retrieving documents from Google Drive. However, it doesn't handle images as effectively. I find the separation between Google Photos and Google Drive inconvenient. It would be much more efficient if I could retrieve both images and text documents together through AI rather than having to access them separately.
One area for product improvement would be better synchronization across regions. Currently, the performance can be slow if you access storage from different global locations.
Protection is an area in the product where improvements are required. If big companies want to use the tool for protection purposes, like security, which is a big thing people are looking for nowadays. Sometimes, the tool's user interface automatically puts all the files in a different place, making it a bit difficult to go deep and figure out in which folder a file is present. I need to search for a file and drill down to be able to find it. There are a few bugs in the tool, as with all content management tools, since the solution is usually used to deal with huge amounts of content. If the flow of the documents is huge, the tool might get slow for the end users, or when the data is being migrated or imported into the tools.
Currently, we are not working too much on Google Cloud Storage, so we are not talking too much about what needs improvement in the solution. As per what your company's client wanted, we had only three deployments associated with Google Cloud Storage. The price of Azure products is high. In my opinion, the prices of Google solutions should be lowered for businesses.

The solution must provide some accessibility features. We work with people with disabilities. The product must provide features that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It must provide features that are easy to read on Google Docs. It can also provide pictorial prompts. It can also provide prompts to simplify the meaning of things.
The product's user interface is an area of concern where improvements are required. The tool could be more user-friendly and offer more designs to users as it is currently very plain and straightforward.
I would like to see some improvements to the user interface. I'm not really comfortable with the user interface because I don't use it very often. I know that my files are there, and I get some information about the size of my storage from Gmail. However, I would like to see a more user-friendly interface.
The capacity could be improved. We'd like more storage and hope they reduce the costs for increased storage. We have some people not using storage at all and some who are using all of their allotment. We'd like to be able to have a certain amount, and those that need more have access to more, and those that need less can have their allotment shared with those that need more. The way it is spread should be more flexible. It is hard to migrate to another product if we want to.
In my previous company, we used Google. More precisely, we were involved with it because earlier, I was using Azure, which we were specifically using AKS, which is Azure Kubernetes Service. So, AKS was a solution that was well-managed by both cloud providers. But compared to AKS, Google Kubernetes is better, especially its GUI and user-friendliness, because one doesn't have to search too much to find a solution. Solutions from Amazon and AWS are quite better compared to Google Cloud Storage since they offer more services than Google. When compared to one of its competitors, Google Cloud Storage does not have or offer a lot of services to its users. So, this is one of the downsides of the solution. This might be because AWS has been there a long while Google has just come up in the last five years.
My use case of this solution is fairly minimal. However, I am concerned about privacy on a cloud platform. Many people are not migrating to a cloud service because they are still concerned about putting data in cloud-based storage.

It would be beneficial to manage duplicated documents better. For example, when conducting a search, it would be useful to indicate when files are the same or duplicate. You could have the same files in different folders and therefore if you are given a choice to decide what to do, that would be a nice feature. You could either delete or merge them. Also, it would be nice to have the possibility to convert video files that you have stored, compress them and store them in different formats. If I had a huge 3-5GB video file and I had the option to convert this to MP3 and compress it that would greatly reduce the file size that is being stored in the cloud.

Comparing to Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Azure is much better and they have more experience than Google. The problem I face right now is that my data warehouse is being hosted on Google Cloud, however, integration between Google Cloud to Microsoft Azure is a big problem. I would love to use Amazon S3 as it's more user-friendly and the SDK is better. It's easy to let the developer implement it, whereas Google Cloud Storage is hard for the developer to use. The SDK is quite complicated. The security could always be better.

Its security should be better from the data security point of view. It should be more secure, and it should get tightly integrated with products such as Google Docs and Google Sheets. Microsoft covers different kinds of tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
I think improvements can be made from a storage perspective and a cost perspective. We're currently working on the application modernization and I think that the integration section of Google and the cloud could be simplified. Integration across various applications isn't always successful.

Google Meet is missing the features needed to control the machines. Google Meet allows you to share the screen but not to control the device itself. It would be better to be able to control it. They need more enhancements in the security features.

I'm not sure if there are any improvements necessary. For my purposes, it works very well. The solution should improve its security and accountability.
User management could be better. It's a complicated process to delete users and maintain the structure of documents created by deleted users. The solution needs backup and archival functionality. We had an instance where our account renewal was not done in time and we lost information. Archival and backup can be expanded upon, by providing archival/backup services within the google cloud solution. It would save us from using a third party for our cloud backup, which is what we are currently doing.

I would like to see an improvement in data visualization as well as new tools to manage storage in any platform. I think Google already has this solution for management. If you have a data set in Amazon, you must be able to manage it with a Google tool and that's a good improvement. I would also like to be able to use my own tools and packages within this solution and also have a tool to visualize the data with graphics.

They could improve their storage and stay current. It is very easy to use Google Cloud Storage, easy to implement, but it is not very flexible when it comes to modifying the parameters. The level of storage, the level of technology, and the level of services could also be improved. The implementation is not as easy as Microsoft, and the process could be improved. We would like to see the implementation of better identity management.

I would like to see an improvement in the management or admin pages, because at times it is not easy to work with them. Also, I like an improvement in the IAM part of the Google Cloud . They need to get some parts of the program more mature, like the admin pages as well as the monitoring part.
Google Cloud Storage is praised for its fast performance, seamless integration, high security, and scalability. Users store and access large amounts of data easily, backup files, host websites, and collaborate on projects. The platform's reliability and cost-effectiveness make it a top choice for data storage and management.
So far, when it comes to security, it meets our needs and requirements, so I have nothing to say about improvements to their services. I do not find any areas needing improvement currently.

The solution works fine.
What would make Google Cloud Storage better is if it provided more storage.
It could be made even more secure and allow for more storage.
Google Cloud Storage could improve by increasing the storage from 15 GB. If I want to have more storage I need to pay extra money.
The solution is good, however, it would benefit from increased storage without the additional cost.
The solution could always be more user-friendly.
I don't find the solution very user-friendly.
