There is scope for improvement in service account usage, LDAP integration, and adapting new devices and features. Challenges and glitches exist, such as handling notifications dynamically and gaps that need to be addressed. Feedback is being provided to the vendor.
They could improve the product in terms of load testing performance. Sometimes, when multiple users use the tool simultaneously, it can slow down, affecting efficiency.
We get logged out of the devices if there is some inactivity. It causes some problems. Automatic logging out is the only issue we faced. We need time to check the requirements and specifications, but LambdaTest logs us out of the device.
I won't be able to comment on what could be improved in the solution since I am not the one who handles LambdaTest. It is our company's IT team that takes care of LambdaTest. Improvements on a platform need to happen on a timely basis. If something is perfect, it doesn't mean that it doesn't need to improvise or improve, like in terms of adding new features. There should be some new features coming up or some performance improvisation over a period of time.
There is room for improvement in support. The community should extend support. Like, Lambda has a huge community, and support should be available online. Another area of improvement is stability and performance of the solution.
It would be useful if LambdaTest had a library of code that first-time developers could copy and paste. In the next release, Lambda should add integration with Cucumber.
I feel that the automated screenshot testing takes a little longer on MacOS sometimes. Though the stability is good, cloud platforms are a bit slower. The platform provides good emulators and simulators but in the future, there will be a need for testing on real devices. This would be a good addition to future rollouts. Though the dashboard is clean, there is room for test analytics to get a qualitative glance at results. Some suggestions on testing will definitely help a newbie working with the platform.
Though the platform does well in almost every aspect for us, there are a couple of things they can do to give it an absolute edge. * Dashboard Analytics: It would be much easier for us to read the test if they provided dashboard analytics. Though I haven't seen it in this category, I feel this feature can take the platform to another level. * Real Devices: LambdaTest has almost all of the emulators and they are good for the most part, but I can see as we grow that we will need real devices. I hope they catch up with that as well.
LambdaTest needs to have native application testing, which would be a great help to my team. We have requested this feature from the support team but it's yet to be implemented. We would also like to see more devices for screenshot testing.
If possible to simulate the finger pinch, it would make it more realistic. We had some speed issues while taking the screenshots, for which I got in touch with the support team. I think that this will be looked upon now.
Mobile application testing will be an added benefit for us if LambdaTest implements this really soon. I would also like to test on real devices, and we have communicated the same to their support team.
Their smart testing module needs improvement. We also hope they could come up with some API for automated visual regression testing. One more thing is that it would be good to see if Lambdatest can get real devices to test for mobile automation. I think these features and improvements will be a robust fix to the product.
You cannot perform native-app testing, as they offer simulation for web testing only. However, from what I have heard, they are promising to go live with it shortly.
Responsive testing UI is a bit cluttered, whereas the LT browser is much better to use. We had a few slugs in the early stage of implementation while running parallel tests; however, the support team was helpful in resolving it.
Analytics could be better because as of now, it gives basic information on test status and build status. It would be better if I could analyze groups of tests that are taking a long time to complete, to pin-point use cases which could lead to slowness in the user journey. It would be nice to have an API for visual regression testing.
I think Lambdatest is a valuable tool for our team and things that have room for improvement would be mobile app testing, as it can be an important addition to the tool. It would be a good package for Lambdatest!
The analytics over the automation dashboard can be more intuitive. The good part is that we have relayed some of our suggestions to the support and as per their support team, those suggestions are to be considered as a part of their upcoming sprint, so we look forward to seeing them onboard soon.
For us, Cypress! It looks like the support for Cypress is not there. The tech support guys say it would be there in a few months, but let's see. Mobile application testing would be helpful for us. We have been asking the support team for this feature but it's yet to be implemented. We would also like to see more devices for screenshot testing. There is a latency in a single test when compared to a local machine. Maybe because of the cloud? So, you have to run in parallel to cut down on testing times.
I did face some minor issues, but after talking with their customer support, they took it as a priority and got it resolved. So I am happy and want to see more features they could add in future.
LambdaTest is a cloud-based cross browser testing platform that helps enterprises run web automation tests at scale (through parallel testing).**Selenium Automation Grid and Cypress CLI on LambdaTest**You can attain better browser coverage by running tests across 2,000+ different browsers, devices, and operating systems online. LambdaTest provides a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based Selenium Grid that helps run Selenium tests at a faster pace. The Cypress CLI on LambdaTest, helps you...

The tool can improve its testing speed. Changing or switching to another mobile phone can be very slow on a real device.

Performing automation testing from UI is a little slow and could be improved.
Load flow compared to other stacks needs improvement.

I would like to see all of the features available in the Freemium plan so that I can test them.
