The VMware should be addressed and the solution should have more storage, although I am not in need of the latter or of any other product at present. The solution could be more scalable, although it suits our present needs.
You can not buy a lot of options for these devices. There are a lot of things that it does not do. Some things that it does not do that we would like it to do include easy tiering. If you have got spindles and you want to cache a couple of terabytes of storage on SSD, that would be something we would like to see that, currently, it does not have the capacity to do. The thing it comes down to is that Lenovo needs to add some more of the software features that would allow the ThinkSystem line to compete with other products that we sell. Other than that, it is what it is.
Usually, when a part fails, we have to replace it and it takes a while. It would be better if the part could be available locally here in Kenya so we don't have to wait so long to repair the solution. If you compare this solution to IBM, there's a feature in IBM that is able to send alerts so that you can be able to place a part order immediately. Lenovo should offer this. It would shorten the process of part replacement.
All-Flash Storage solutions provide fast and reliable storage capabilities by using solid-state drives, catering to enterprises that demand high-speed data access and improved performance.
These storage systems are designed to eliminate the latency and reliability issues often associated with traditional HDD-based storage. They deliver consistent low-latency performance and are capable of handling demanding workloads, such as high-frequency trading, big data analytics, and large-scale...
The product could support advanced software integrations.
They should include a snapshot feature for the solution.
The solution's performance could be faster.
Improvements can be made to the product's performance.
ThinkSystem could be better integrated with backup software like Commvault, Veritas, or Symantec.
While it is a reliable product, it could be improved. It would be useful to have structured solutions replicated to other sites.

I would like to have a better performance from this solution. In the next release, I would like to see support for Hyper-converged infrastructure.
