The solution should be made tablet friendly because it works well on iPhones and Android phones, but does not work on tablets. In today's world of mobility, tablets are becoming more commonplace because they are less heavy, and you can just whip them out and use them anywhere.
There is room for improvement in support, they should work on overall competence and turn-around time. ManageEngine needs to timely upgrade the product it could include bug fixes or any security-related alerts
With the number of available integrations these days, it would be beneficial to have more ready-to-integrate technologies in other products as well. In future releases, I would like to have more technologies and products that can integrate with ADManager Plus. Currently, there are only around eight to ten available as plugins for single-click integration. However, there are many missing integrations. They might be in the pipeline, but they are not visible in the latest updates. Maybe they will add more in the future. For additional features, I would like to see more efficient reporting. Currently, the focus is more on executing real activities rather than reporting. For reports, we have to go back to ADAudit, which is not ideal. It would be better if they could merge reporting into a single tool, making it more comprehensive.

Some things are not very intuitive. Sometimes, I have to open up a call with ManageEngine and ask, "Why is this failing? Where do I have to click? Where do I have to go?" It's almost like you need to take a course on how to manoeuvre within it, and you don't always know what's connected to what is on the back end. For example, if I go in and change something and receive an error report, I don't know exactly what changed or what broke. Also, some of the reports are good, but sometimes I need more customized reports, and I'm not quite sure how to customize them because I don't fully understand what's going on in the back end and how these things connect. So, probably on the reporting or customization side, if there were a little more intuitiveness, that would be good.

API integrations are not supported for all HR tools. For example, Workday is supported but SAP HCM is not. We are in the process of developing a middleware to solve the issue.

The bulk email ID creation must be improved. I had to create 50 to 60 IDs manually because when I tried the bulk option, it didn't work. I still had to cross-verify because some fields were empty.

All of it needs to be improved. It's not working as it said it would with having several advantages. It has corrupted my environment. I have had several issues in my Active Directory because of it, so I deleted it. I don't feel comfortable with it and the features that are listed do not perform as indicated on the site. This solution is not stable, it wasted my time. In the next release, I would like to see all of the features. The UI needs to be improved and the functionality of the display.

We're using the trial version, and so far everything we've been trying has been very good. We haven't seen areas that need improvement just yet. The price could be a bit lower. It would be nice if the solution offered some sort of brochure with some high-level information that would help sell it to management. If they had details around how much time it saves an engineer, for example, to show the ROI, it would be helpful. The solution could use more templated reports. Right now I have to manually manage and create reports. The solution needs to integrate better with Office 365 so you can have a mixed environment. The main downside is that, for my environment, I must have two products to conduct the same purpose. If I want to download and export PSD or I have mail and disabled accounts, I don't do it from one console. It would be helpful if I could.

The solution is very complex, especially when there's an active directory of more than 1,000 users, which makes it hard to administrate. They need to improve the management of the administrative process. The user interface is 90% friendly but some features need to be found and aren't obvious at first. They should adjust this to make it easier to discover items within the solution.
