It would be beneficial if they could offer the functionality of planned DV patches linked with support. A one-click user agreement could apply these patches to the most appropriate addresses. While not a major update, rather a small package like from 19.13 to 19.14, it would be great in keeping the customer database up to date.
Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control manages the monitoring and the graphs. Other tools complement the base monitoring. Zabbix is efficient with space pressure. For instance, it can quickly and efficiently monitor aspects like system space pressure, memory usage, and CPU usage. Additionally, it can monitor a wider range of products beyond just databases and Oracle products in general. This enables us to monitor high-spec data sets effectively.

One area where Oracle EMCC could improve is file import flexibility. Currently, it supports only MSP and XML files, limiting the types of files that can be imported. Despite this, I find the application highly useful for both IT and construction industries, and I have confidence that any limitations can be addressed in future updates.
While entering the database, there is some delay in viewing the data on the page called SQL monitoring, which reviews live statistics about the current and live queries on the database. Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control could automatically create an SR with Oracle and follow up with SR, but it needs more enhancement in its ability.

Currently, it seems that Oracle is focused on cloud features, and perhaps even incorporating artificial intelligence into the administration of different functions of the software. This could potentially be implemented into Oracle Enterprise Manager.
There are enough features, however, they could add an SQL flag. They have no MongoDB or other databases. It would be ideal if they offered plugins for those. The initial setup is a bit complex. In general, the product is complex. They need to simplify it and make it lighter. The performance can be a bit slow.

The only negative thing about this product is that it doesn't support all environments or all applications. It does support most but there are limitations around applications and monitoring. I would like to see an expansion of the functionality into other products. This includes smaller products, like monitoring applications for MySQL or even smaller Oracle databases. It does support Oracle very well but in the smaller databases, they should increase functionality. Improving the detail of the databases that it can monitor would also be helpful.

The on-premises installation is complex. It should be easier, especially for deploying agents that are running on a Windows machine that is running Oracle databases. It's very complex. Linux based machines aren't so complicated but it's complex for Windows.

There is a lack from the point of view of monitoring on the system. The performance of the system and its resources are things that I think can be improved. There needs to be real-time monitoring available on the solution.
Because this solution provides insight into all of the areas within the IT stack, it would benefit from enhancements in security. This is a major concern for our customers. The cost for the licenses needs to be improved because they are expensive and scare many customers away from Oracle. This is unfortunate because Oracle products give the customer what they need. In the case of this solution, it is optional, rather than built-in to Oracle 12c. With this in mind, the cost should be lower, otherwise many users will not adopt the product. One suggestion that I have for the vendor is to ensure that their sales team has technical knowledge about the products for which they are selling. Some customers have been misguided on certain products because the sales team did not fully understand them. Oracle needs to look into people who have strong skills in both selling and implementing the technology.

The product does have room for improvement in patch management. It is complex, but since the documentation is very much elaborated, we followed the documentation. We were able to implement it by ourselves. We didn't have to ask the third-party implementers to come and implement it for us. The deployment took around two days. The whole deployment, all the production servers (we have around three hundred servers), took around three months. I would like to see more security features in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control like application data integrity.

It is sometimes difficult to create configurations in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.

The response time of the solution's technical support team is too long and should be improved.
The configuration is not straightforward for web continuity. It needs some improvement and the deployment is expensive.
