It is difficult to say whether the product can be improved in any areas since we are not using some of the free features of the product in our company. I could have suggested something that could have been improved in the product if my company had been using some of the features offered in the tool. It would be better if the product could be improved in terms of providing information to the users regarding the status or where the request is since both areas are not easy to manage. I would like some AI solution to be integrated into Oracle Taleo, which can review the CVs of candidates and match it with the job descriptions properly just by looking at the uploaded CVs.
The solution should be more intuitive and user-friendly when navigating the different pages within Oracle. If someone wants to exit the organization, they have to go to different pages and look very in-depth to find specific pages. It's not very open enough to identify those buttons, which becomes a challenge.

Oracle Taleo felt a bit outdated, and we didn't use it for every step of the candidate process. We mainly used it to track job IDs, create job requisitions, and add candidates when making an offer. It wasn't very user-friendly for moving candidates through different stages of the recruitment lifecycle.

There are functional issues based on the system that we're currently using. This has nothing to do with Taleo. There are always going to be little caveats here and there that you might not have known about as far as changes are concerned, however, it's not business-oriented to the point where the business shuts down. It's just modifications that we have to do on a functional basis.

Currently I think Oracle is more inclined towards investing in ORC, which is the Oracle Recruiting Cloud application. In terms of Oracle Taleo as a product, there are a lot of things which can be developed; most feedback which I have heard from customers is about the dashboard and the home page, both of which are quite basic. It is not very user-friendly yet, and they do not have visibility. HR people are more inclined towards the graphical representation of how recruiting is going on within their organization, so that is not something which Oracle should be avoiding.

It's hard to share access with other people right now. If you try it will not work. They should do something that improves the ability to share everything. It would be ideal if we could integrate the solution with Olympia. It would be helpful if we could add another support desk for an IT person. It would be great if the product was more interdisciplinary and could include IT.
The bulk recruitment feature does not work well. In the next release of this solution, I would like to see an Offer Duplication function that would work like the Requisition Duplication feature.

I don't see very valuable features in this product because it has an old way of interpreting ATS. It should be more flexible in managing datasets and data searches. The screening data is a long process in Taleo. The interface isn't so user-friendly. It's a little bit dated. The next release should have an option for video interviews. Also, it would be helpful to have a more flexible and integrated system for scheduling follow-up interviews and appointments. We should be able to integrate more easily with other HR systems.

Taleo doesn't really provide us with the systems that we need. There are a few areas that they don't cover.

The pricing could be improved. In the next release, I would like to see new integration points to two new sourcing channels.
I don't remember a lot of CRM-type functionality for our salespeople.
