You will need to search for deployment examples or need to have a first demonstration to make it ready for your specific needs. The adoption and learning will be another challenge if you are already using other solutions. If that is the case or your challenge then I will recommend buying the Enterprise edition from Hitachi Vantara as full solution with installation, deployment, and migration from your existing product.
Pentaho Business Analytics' user interface is outdated. It's also limited in out-of-the-box features, which forces you to develop features yourself. There are also some problems with having to update metadata manually, which I would like to see Pentaho fix in the future.

There are no easy guides to implementing metadata injection. Templates and sample jobs could be provided for customers who need to leverage metadata for standard processing across multiple databases and tables.
The repository should be improved. There should be the possibility to have versioning, to make it combinable with some Git repositories or something like that, to check out the processes and make sure it has a traceable history. The solution could really be improved. There are too many bugs in our version.
