With reference architectures like VX rack, the update process is quite painful. They could automate or simplify it more. There are prerequisites to go through, and that's usually the only time-consuming pain we encounter.
Cost is an important factor needing improvement. The pricing of PowerEdge solutions is very high nowadays. Additionally, technical support requires improvement as there can be delays and challenges when support personnel are required to resolve issues on-site.
One area for improvement is the customer support process. The specialization in support, while effective, can lead to delays and complexity in getting issues resolved. It would be beneficial if the support process were more streamlined.
Nowadays, the product has started to become a bit expensive in the market, at a time when Nutanix offers virtualization software, which is even cheaper when compared to VMware. In order to penetrate into the market, the pricing of servers like PowerEdge C and other HCI solutions should be lower. Price-wise, I would want to see the product offer more flexibility. The hypervisor offered by ESXi is not compatible with different types of hypervisors. In the case of Nutanix AHV, the hypervisor is compatible with the other types of hypervisors. The aforementioned aspects need to be considered for improvement in the product to achieve high scalability. There is some trouble with the stability part of the product, making it an area where improvements are required.
Data center management and disaster recovery have different life cycles and different licensing. It would be easier if data center management and disaster recovery were combined.

It would be better if it worked with SMTP servers on the cloud. Right now, it only allows notifications via the SMTP server. In the next release, I would like to have a better processor.
The reliability needs improvement. We have had some issues. The issue is that Dell's no longer selling this product in the near future. It's almost the end of life.
Overall, it offers a lot of good features for the industry. I don't recall any that are lacking per se. We had a few minor issues with compatibility on the latest version during the installation process.
I can't think of anything that needs to be improved at the moment. A lot of evolution is occurring with Blade PowerEdge, including, what call, the blade servers. The VxRail should be opened to allow other virtualization platforms to be used.
Blade Servers are high-density servers designed to save space and improve energy efficiency. They are commonly used in data centers to optimize power and cooling requirements.Designed with a modular architecture, Blade Servers maximize performance within a compact design. Multiple server blades can be housed in a single chassis, reducing physical space and minimizing cabling needs. Users report noticeable improvements in scalability and manageability, often highlighting enhanced resource...

For improvements, the iDRAC application isn't very intuitive to handle. We have it deployed on-premises.
The next release would be configured for the new server. For that, the service could be upgraded.
