Hello community,
I am looking for a complete HRMS solution that includes performance management, payroll, requirement, and personal administration features.
My first choice is SAP. Do you know what HRMS features are included in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7.4?
Which HRMS solution do you prefer and why?
Thank you for your help.
If you just want HRMS/HCM then would go with a company that specializes in Payroll, HR features. There are limited touch points that might need to work with your ERP, such as GL account codes and posting to GL after each payroll commit. Most of that can be handled today through basic integrations or prebuilt connectors. When we evaluated the payroll and personnel management systems, we first looked to our ERP, but it would have taken several 3rd party integrations to make a complete solution. For example, we needed Time and Attendance - our ERP and other providers relied on you getting another system such as Kronos for managing this. Noting that our ERP was limited, we did an RFP for an actual HCM, and evaluated solutions. Finalists were Workday and Ceridian Dayforce which offered more expertise in that arena. We went with Dayforce because it offered all that you listed and more - it had integrated time and attendance, managed services for tax filing and garnishments. We were able to implement time and attendance in Dayforce and get rid of 3 different timekeeping systems. So even though we went with a sperate HCM, we achieved some system consolidation. With Dayforce, we can see on timesheets and pay calculations within 5 minutes of clocking in via mobile, ESS, or physical time clocks. The pay and entitlements policies (rules engine) are able to handle 12 bargaining units, which include 6 different union agreements. Continuous calculation allows us to manage our time and payroll over the course of Pay period and smooth out the work, versus a mad dash the Monday and Tuesday of payday.
@Enas Alanisi - I was speaking from experience of evaluating products from an RFP. We didn't buy workday, we went with Dayforce.
