Hello peers,
I am a Solutions Architect at a large computer software company.
I would like to enable direct access to the Internet on a home node on an SD-WAN network. I am currently looking at Meraki MX and Fortinet. On a security level, which solution is more beneficial when it comes to direct internet protection?
Thank you for your help.
I am not a fan of Fortinet anymore. There are too many unresolved issues and we finally axed both NGFW and WAF. Meraki MX can definitely work. You might really want to do an evaluation against Palo though. They have so many good products that truly work together and can be extended in the future instead of being locked in.
