Oracle Linux is best for ERP Applications and databases.
We are using Oracle 12C and Oracle ERP 12.2.4 for 10 yrs. We have tested these products on Windows OS, Red Hat Linux and Oracle Linux.
But Oracle Linux is most compatible due to prebuilt configurations of Oracle's required kernel parameters. Windows is for personal use or for test/development environment but is not recommended for a production environment.
