What I like most about Vlocity is that it is an efficient, time-efficient system and it uses reliable cloud apps. Some of its major advantages are that it helps with cost management, helps improve business process outcomes, helps drive revenue growth, and also impacts business process agility. The main reasons I chose Vlocity were because of the breadth of services it offers, its strong customer focus, its product roadmap and future vision, as well as its financial/organizational viability. Integration and deployment of Vlocity was easy and straightforward, and service and support have been adequate so far. I have found Vlocity to be fast, accurate, and I like that it provides complete interactions via the most common customer channels. Since I have been using Vlocity, customer relations management has vastly improved with effective transactional capabilities, which in turn has helped accelerate users to productivity while also helping to consolidate applications.
Salesforce CPQ is also great. It has easy to use guided flows, allows you to easily consolidate applications, and helps organizations reduce overall cost to serve key B2B customers. However, sometimes it can be slow in response. Like Vlocity, Salesforce CPQ boasts a strong customer focus and its performance is good. It also has a great UI and is extremely user-friendly. Moreso, installation is easy and it works well with different integrations. I like that Salesforce CPQ is native to Salesforce, and the fact that it is easy to customize and edit in similar ways that you would with other Salesforce objects is a big plus. If you are already familiar with using the Salesforce platform, there is no real learning curve for standard setup and functionality. Overall, it is a great tool with lots of features.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a simple, reliable, and easy-to-use system to get your customer relations right, your best bet is to go with Vlocity. I went with Vlocity because it allows me to focus on what matters most - my customers - rather than on the software itself.
