Would you upgrade to more premium versions of IBM InfoSphere DataStage?
The solution offers a free trial and a basic package with the core features. After using them, would you recommend upgrading to a more expensive edition of this tool or are you happy with the basic version?
My company currently uses the free version of the product, and we are definitely switching to a paid one. We needed a tool that can help us not only integrate our data but use it effectively. For the time we have used IBM InfoSphere DataStage, we have been nothing but satisfied with the results. I think we will skip the most basic package and go for either Enterprise or Enterprise Plus since we plan to continue using the product as our company grows. We are yet to contact IBM and see what prices they are to offer us, but we are very likely to accept since this product has proven very effective and beneficial to us.

I think when it comes to your company's data, you cannot make compromises, since this is the essential component for your success. I have tried the most basic version of the product and while it is good, I believe the premium versions are definitely worth upgrading. You pay more but you also get more, naturally. And what you receive is many functionalities that are crucial for improving the work with your data and making better business decisions.
