The management was facing challenge to manage the secrets centrally for their huge and complex on-prem and Cloud environments in the bank. I gave them the solution to use HashiCorp Vault tool for centrally managing the secrets. I recommended the solution that if your use case is to manage the secrets only at the application level then HashiCorp Vault is the perfect choice. However, if your use case is to manage secrets both at the application level and at the infrastructure level, then Cyber Ark Vault is the perfect choice.
First I would like to study the environments for a couple of months and then would like to interact with couple of teams like application teams, development teams, DevOps Teams in parallel which will help me to reach the conclusion in the right manner.
