Project Description

Low Architectural maturity client needed to implement Architecture capabilities to facilitate a complex delivery. Existing EA tool (Essential Cloud | The Essential Project (enterprise-architecture.org)) was found to not be fit-for-purpose. Went to market for tool that met requirements, found MEGA-HOPEX exceeded requirements.
Procured MEGA-HOPEX.
Now being implemented.
Learnt an incredible amount about EA tool migration into non-Architecture affirming environments, and the need for detailed change management plan and contributor acceptable goals when within a low maturity organisation.

Lessons Learned

Powerful Sponsor - like CIO. Sell to Executive first. Prepare core data for immediate/near-term Dashboard release. Constant Marketing of value. Find, enable and empower contributor super-users with agency to carry the message deeper into the organisation faster.
