Deploy Next Gen Firewall to our University of Kelaniya(UoK) Sri Lanka. 6 years ago UoK has Cisco ASA5510 firewall and it was a typical one check only packets. So we need antispam, antivirus, application control, web content filtering, IPS, IPsec VPN and DPI. We invite few vendors to showcase their product to us. Checkpoint, Juniper and Cyberoam did their POC and finally select Chekpoint 4800 for secure our network. At that time our Internet bandwidth was 20Mbps. Last year it was increased up to 600Mbps and now it almost 1Gbps. Existing Checkpoint can not handle this amount and we decide to upgrade or choose best model to handle this situation. Again checked with Checkpoint 15400 , Sonicwall 9400, Sophos XG750 and Fortinet 1500D and finally select Checkpoint.
