It provides storage solutions that offer an attractive balance of affordability, and allow us to consolidate both block storage and file storage, catering to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, which make up the majority of our clientele.

It stands out for its affordability and the ability to provide unified storage.

The graphical interface is somewhat lacking, and it doesn't cover all the necessary tasks, often requiring users to resort to the command line for completion. They did not invest significantly in updating the design and functionality of their graphical interface, giving it a somewhat outdated appearance and functionality, resembling technology from two decades ago.

We have been working with it for over fifteen years.

When we come across bugs or other problems, Fujitsu provides comprehensive guidelines for upgrading specific components or fixing the issues. This strategy has proven to be stable and reliable. We manage numerous smaller installations across various sites, and we haven't encountered any issues related to data availability or data loss, demonstrating the effectiveness of these procedures.

In our experience, we have not needed to extend the storage beyond its initial configuration.

We haven't faced significant problems with this type of storage. However, it's worth noting that Fujitsu's support primarily originates from Germany, which generally bodes well.

The initial setup is straightforward and quite convenient. It doesn't demand an extensive knowledge base or complex installation procedures. We benefit from excellent support materials available through the partner site, making it an appropriate and easily manageable process. Over the past two decades, we've had numerous successful implementations of this storage type, and it's notable that it's not resource-intensive in terms of personnel required for installation and maintenance.

The installation process for a small implementation involving a couple of servers typically takes one to two weeks at most. This is because the setup is relatively simple, and it doesn't fall under the category of enterprise or complex storage solutions.

The entry-level midrange model from Fujitsu is cost-effective for our target market. We acquire licenses and capacity for our required applications and features at the outset. Initially, these charges do not include an extended warranty or support for these features, but if we wish to extend the warranty or require support for features like replication or verification, we must also extend the warranty for those specific features.

For small companies or those with modest performance requirements, Fujitsu storage is an ideal choice. It offers the advantage of affordable extended warranties and doesn't pose any significant issues, even in less-than-ideal conditions like a cramped office space with basic air conditioning. Overall, I would rate it eight out of ten.
