Lenovo ThinkSystem Rack Servers Reviews

These are rack servers. We use them for applications. It stores everything including VM servers, application servers, Windows, et cetera.

The reliability is great.

The solution is like any other commodity like Dell or HPE. These are all very similar. 

Setting up the solution is easy.

We primarily use the solution for a network server and file server.

The pricing is the most valuable aspect of the solution.

We do the deployment and installation for clients. We'll start and go. We do firmware updates, discs upgrading, and some storage connections for clients.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is the easiest product to set up and maintain.

Lenovo provides a very good solution for enterprise-level computing. They offer many channels, including ThinkAgile, a replacement for the late ThinkAgile virtualization platform at Mountaineer. In virtualization, we can use dial systems and other technologies. Lenovo also provides excellent storage, including high-density flash drives, SSD drives, and HDD drives. They recently launched the SR650 V3 and V4 servers, which feature the latest generation of processors. Lenovo also offers AMD series processors. Compared with other brands, they are giving up very good and latest technology. There is no complaint from the customer side. They are very much satisfied with this product. It offers various features, including software support and premium support.

Lenovo could improve its solution for blade servers. Many customers are still using blade servers. They are providing solutions for blade servers, but they have now moved on to completing the virtualization-based system. They have incorporated ESXi and have a joint venture with ESXi Solutions, and we are dealing with them.

We are using this solution without any errors on the main boards or other systems. We are also using the storage of Lenovo, that is, V7000. We have 30 VM machines on the servers here, and we are using SP1 scalable processors.

We are buying all the things to use from Lenovo. Everything comes from Lenovo, that is, hard drives, racks, memory, and processors.

The IMM tool is great because we can upgrade different views and device versions very quickly. We can upgrade everything from a single point through a single dashboard, which is great for us because we also have Lenovo storage. Lenovo ThinkSystem also has Xclarity built into the system.

My company uses the product for testing purposes on our server. Regarding the server's compatibility in our environment, updating RAM or adding disk space is easy.

The product is designed to make adding RAM and disk space easier for users.

We use this solution for virtualization purposes. We are running a huge amount of different VM's on them.

The usage of the server itself, the hardware specs of the specific models is more than enough for the project or projects' needs. The controllers which were used, or the hardware (HDDs or solid drives from Lenovo, which are used in this hardware) are more than enough for our project needs. Overall, the general configuration of the server, the system, truly covers the project needs.

Most of our projects come with a pretty heavy workload. The server itself covers all of the bases — my clients are really happy with it.
