When we consider the backup model of other products like Veeam, their incremental backup just adds to their first full backup. With Veritas System Recovery, we have the option to run an infinite number of full backups according to our requirements. With my cloud version of Veritas System Recovery, I can have a full backup every month, which is not possible with any other vendors. Other vendors will claim that the original copy is strong enough, but the customers have to ensure that bugs won't cause any problems in the future. However, with Veritas System Recovery, you can run a full backup this month and again run a full backup on the first or thirtieth day of the next month.

The tool is a last resort. We primarily focus on preventing situations where its use becomes necessary. While we sell and test this tool, our customers don't frequently need to use it because it prevents such scenarios from occurring in the first place. The feature most relied upon for our NetBackup customers differs. Generally, customers prefer having manual control over the recovery process rather than relying solely on automated solutions. None of our customers currently opt for the automated solution because they prefer maintaining control over the process. I would recommend Veritas System Recovery to others. Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten.

Veritas System Recovery Manager offers some manager solutions, but there is room for improvement. If we are managing multiple machines, System Recovery can be installed. However, when compared to other solutions such as Acronis, Veritas' centralized console could use more functionality. Veritas Backup Access is a centralized solution, but if we want to manage it as a central solution, the centralized management console needs improvement.
