Azure Front Door inspects network traffic, offering SSL offloading and DDoS protection. It is easy to set up, scalable, and affordable with load-balancing and WAF features. Users can apply multiple policies per instance. However, it supports only Azure cloud and lacks advanced features compared to Cloudflare. There is confusion with other Azure services, and improvements in latency, cost, data export, and monitoring are needed to enhance large-scale project capabilities.
