We use the solution to manage updates. I want to ensure everything is updated first and manage things so that we don't end up with strange behavior on the computer or fail to understand what's happening. That can be problematic if the computer is just allowed to do its updates. Unless you have a patch management solution, you can't manage updates for many products we have, such as Adobe products and others. These products often have updates that don't come with Windows updates. We want to control updates ourselves to avoid problems caused by Windows updates.

Most people understand that you must update your software for compatibility and security issues. Sometimes, the latest products won't work together correctly. We have a laxative layer of approach, so we have a lot of protection going on different layers.
