Easy to setup, reasonably priced, and the portal works well
We are using this solution to backup Microsoft 365 data, including SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams They have just implemented a Backup and Restore portal that we think is very good. I would like to see a better method of backing up Exchange in the cloud. We have been using this solution for six…

Reliable rollback features for smooth IT operations and an easy setup
We are using Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to take backups of shop floor PCs. I use it for clients locally, particularly for critical machines. It is also used globally for server-side backups and includes scheduling features like taking ten backups every Sunday when the factory is closed. This…

Pros

"They have just implemented a Backup and Restore portal that we think is very good."
"iland is excellent as far as the interface."
"The service itself wasn't bad."
"The product offers good stability."
"The most valuable feature is the data backup functionality."
"Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is reliable and easy to use."
"I appreciate that Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 allows me to back up on both local storage and cloud storage, providing two options for data restoration."
"Technical support in Veeam is good."
"It has got all the features. You can restore a mailbox based on an email or a calendar or based on all the emails. A user can also get access to restore the mailbox."
"We are able to store it on various cloud providers such as Amazon S3, Rocket, Azure, and IBM Cloud. It can also do on-premise integration, and we are able to use storage from on-premise. We are also able to recover data. It is a really good and intuitive solution. Veeam has developed a fantastic product. I've never seen anything that I don't like about Veeam. It looks like a very complete solution. It is really mature, simple to use, and quite interrogative. It also has APIs for writing scripts."
"It is easy to set up. You can use some functions to make sure you get the maximum bandwidth to do the backup. It has an option to bypass Microsoft network limitations and things like that."

Cons

"I would like to see a better method of backing up Exchange in the cloud."
"The vendor needs to changes billing to work like every other business and stop charging people if they stop using your service."
"They don't support a more current version of VMware."
"When you add a new site for backup, it gives you a notice that there is a new site, but the way you select that and configure that could be slightly better. It works, but it is not always very clear. For example, for the URL, you need to hover over the title or the name of the site. You should see it immediately on the screen. It should have a better user interface for selecting what you want to back up so that you get a more clear overview of the sites that are there and the ones that you want to combine in a backup. Its user interface should be more user-friendly. It has a lot of scrolling and doesn't give you a complete overview when needed. That's the main thing why it is not very user-friendly. It should have a better user interface."
"While there really is nothing wrong with the product some small improvements in the interface could make it even easier to use."
"They should include some more options to send alerts in existing monitoring software."
"We tried to use Veeam for our DRP. It was complicated to use and did not help us with our DRP needs due to our internet connectivity at that time."
"Pricing is an area for improvement, and I would rate it at five out of ten."
"This is a cloud solution, and the speed can be slow sometimes."
"We attempted to use it for our DRP, however, we found it too expensive and complex, so we decided to use it just for backup."
"It would be a great improvement to be able to recover cover a VM straight to on-prem."
