Marketing team has gained self-service access to clean customer data and runs targeted campaigns
Amperity offers very clean data and good analytics as its best features. Amperity helps with data cleanliness by removing all duplicates, consolidating all multiple data and repetitive data, and they do a great job on cleansing our data and making it into information. Amperity has positively impacted my organization because our marketing and e-commerce team does not require the IT team's help anymore; they are very self-driven and operating under a self-service model, and I am very happy to have that solution. This shift to self-service has led to measurable results, such as the ease of pulling the data using AI functionality and the speed of getting data because everything is so easy to use.

Data management consolidation improves efficiency and user coordination
The licenses are too expensive compared to before, which is why customers are now preferring other data metadata management tools like OneTrust, Collibra, and Azure Purview. As a matter of POC, they are assessing whether their requirements can meet data governance initiatives. The need for skilled professionals is increasing, but cost remains a significant consideration for organizations when implementing CDGC. If a budget is allocated and they are satisfied with the Informatica CDGC license price, then it is a very good tool to implement. Regarding improvements, besides the price, the advanced clusters feature in CDGC needs attention. There are advanced scanners features present in both on-premise and cloud, but the setup isn't straightforward; there are lots of dependencies to consider. For instance, an SAP connector dealing with CDGC isn't simple. There are precautions and prerequisites that must be followed; otherwise, it won't work easily compared to the Oracle connector. Thus, resources need to be handled carefully with the advanced scanner configuration guide.

"Customer service and technical support are excellent."
"Informatica Cloud Data Integration has a strong enterprise customer base and this is one of the main reasons why we choose to work with them."
"The MDM solution is capable of integrating multiple systems, so it helped us to solve the purpose of centralizing the depository as well as the standardization of mass data. It takes away all the ambiguity around data integrity issues or all the process challenges which happen when every stage of a process uses a different source as master data."
"I feel like we're always getting good support from Informatica, even when there are technical challenges, it's one of the best things about the solution."

Cons

"Amperity needs better onboarding documentation."
"Informatica MDM could improve the interdependency with integration. The solution sometimes becomes a bit difficult to change considering a lot of interdependency with the integration. There can be some improvement in the workflows and they can introduce more artificial intelligence."
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a two out of ten, with one being difficult and ten being easy."
"The cloud version of the Informatica, it's a very substandard product. They might say it's enterprise-ready but it's not at all ready."
"A general improvement in icons and the virtual interface would be good."
"We promote our code changes from a lower to a higher environment, which is highly complex when working with a multi-domain MDM like Informatica."
"There are challenges when we use Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The current features are a bit complicated, and we need to write big scripts and test."
"The main issue probably has nothing to do with end users, but installation can definitely be simplified."
"We face issues with the API side, as Cloud Application Integration cannot handle large volumes; according to the API page, there is a limitation of 500 records or 500 MB."
