Leading-edge NLP capabilities, efficient training of machine learning models, and the automation saves us significant time
The machine learning capability is good. The algorithm helps us to get the right data with less training effort. The technology seems to be a little bit ahead of the standard NLP software. They use more pattern recognition, rather than basing everything on reading static text. The problem with relying on an unchanging text is that it can depend on things such as the formatting, and where things appear within a document. This solution can process complex formats, which is helpful for us because we get a lot of PDFs and they come in many different formats. As an example, a carrier might include a list of their rates in a table, whereas a different carrier will write their rates into a paragraph, and yet another will put them into some sort of graphic. If you only capture text then you will only capture part of that data. Pattern recognition ultimately helps us to circumvent the problems in dealing with format variability in documents and allows us to capture the right data. When it comes to predicting what it is that a document needs manual intervention, CMR Plus does it pretty well. They have a QA cycle that is usually able to highlight such data. The content recognition ability, in terms of giving us only the data that we need and nothing else, is pretty good. It has a positive effect on our efficiency and by extension, it impacts our infrastructure costs.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Pros

"The automation provided by this solution has saved us a lot of time."
"Pattern recognition ultimately helps us to circumvent the problems in dealing with format variability in documents and allows us to capture the right data."
"UiPath Platform is a great platform in the RPA market."
"I like the document understanding feature. It gives us more accuracy."
"The best features I appreciate about the UiPath Platform include the ability to enable some components to be used, as well as the dashboards for logging and the bots' performance after deployment."
"The feature I appreciate the most on UiPath Platform is the web interface."
"UiPath has been pretty stable since we are mostly on-premises."
"It has a really good turnaround time for our operations department to start working on claims, because all the information has already been pulled upfront with the bots. Instead of having to go into an account and request medical records or a certain type of document, it's normally already been pulled on the front-end as soon as the account loads because we run everything through the bots."
"One of the reasons UiPath is so successful is the UiPath community. We have tremendous people in the community supporting each other in terms of development or community events."
"In my particular job function, Automation Hub has been invaluable. We have set up an Automation Hub specific to what we need within our team to be able to solicit automation ideas from our business users. It helps us to be able to review those ideas, meet with our functions and ask them more questions, and build our value case as well, so Automation Hub has been huge for us."

Cons

"We would like to see the overall accuracy increase from approximately 70% to perhaps 85%."
"It would be very helpful to have a simple and extensive training guide, or training model, to help learn how to work with the product."
"More maturity on the Agentic AI part and the Maestro would be beneficial; however, it will come with time."
"The documentation can be a little bit lacking. I think they improved it a little bit last month. Last time I checked, it seemed like they spent a bit of time trying to improve it. Sometimes some of the processes are nicely documented. UiPath offers training, which they provide on their website. They teach you how to use it, but for some processes, it just seems like the documentation isn't really there. It makes it a little bit difficult when you're using a specific process from the first time."
"A self-coding robot can be a very useful tool in the future."
"The training could be improved by clarifying more and more at every step."
"UiPath is good in a lot of areas, but as an end user, I feel one thing that can be improved is UiPath Studio. It is an application that we can download to our system and then start building the use cases that we want. Sometimes, it takes a little bit of time to launch, and when we are building a complex application involving a lot of sequential flows, it tends to lag a bit."
"The user interface needs to be more customizable, and the debugging tool doesn't work well enough. It needs some improvements."
"I would definitely appreciate efforts to be made to build useful tools that meet regulatory standards in different fields so that we can all get the most out of automation."
"We'd like to see mobile robots in the future."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is really good, and it's based on usage."
"The UiPath license is a little expensive, but we get a lot of good features for the price."
"Its price is moderate. It is neither very expensive nor very cheap. Everything is good in terms of pricing."
"My advice is to ask about how the licensing works and how to get access to the other services that UiPath provides."
"I wasn't surprised by the tool's pricing. It was comparable to my expectations."
"It is based on the use case. If the use case needs several bots, it gets expensive."
"I am using the Community version in my office and personally."
"UiPath is reasonably priced for being a leader in the market."
"The cost of UiPath is reasonable."
