Strong ability to customize, but require improvements to their BOM configuration
In the next release, I would like to see improvements to their BOM configuration. Aras would also benefit from better integration with other systems. The solution also needs better capabilities of the features it has. I am looking for it to have modeling, project planning, and MES capabilities as well as a built-in CAD tool.

Allows us to do product collaboration, PPM, and PQM, but it isn't scalable and can't support BOM management if we have thousands of parts
It's not scalable. It can't support BOM management if we have thousands of parts. That's one of the biggest limitations. Relationship management should support large data. The workflow engine also needs improvement. It should support complex workflows. There are things with patch management that should be better. There are hundreds of other things that we logged with them but never got implemented. The cloud version isn't very powerful, so it doesn't support parallel workflow. It just supports the serial flow. The stability and technical support could also be improved.
