Tells us about vulnerabilities as well as their impact and helps to focus on real issues
Looking at all the different pieces, it has got everything we need. Some of the pieces we do not even use. For example, we do not have Kubernetes Security. We are not running any K8 clusters, so it is good for us. Overall, we find the solution to be fantastic. There can be additional education components. This may not be truly fair to them because of what the product is going for, but it would be great to see additional education for compliance. It is not a criticism of the tool per se, but anything to help non-development resources understand some of the complexities of the cloud is always appreciated. Any additional educational resources are always helpful for security teams, especially those without a development background.

Boosts security by automatically blocking applications or activities, but query responses have been slower recently
For the past six months, we have been facing some issues. Because it is a cloud-based infrastructure, it has been getting slower. There are no bugs because they release updates continuously. We highly appreciate that, but during hunting or running a query on different logs, the time frame has increased in the past six months. It takes longer to give us the results. Another issue is the lack of proper documentation. During investigations, there is no proper documentation available. This is a problem because many people are saying there should be proper documentation explaining what CrowdStrike captures from the machine and the meaning of it.

Helps with Zero-day protection
We use the solution for Zero-day protection.  The solution stops any kind of remote code execution.  The tool's dashboard needs to load since it is not responsive and takes time to load.  I have been using the product for a year.  I would rate the tool's stability a six out of ten.  I would…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security has saved up to 50 percent in engineering time."
"We mostly use alerts. That has been pretty good. If we use the alert system from Amazon, it is much costlier to us, so we use PingSafe."
"Singularity Cloud's ability to create custom correlation searches and reduce noise is highly valuable."
"As a frequently audited company, we value PingSafe's compliance monitoring features. They give us a report with a compliance score for how well we meet certain regulatory standards, like HIPAA. We can show our compliance as a percentage. It's also a way to show that we are serious about security."
"We use the infrastructure as code scanning, which is good."
"Singularity Cloud Native Security provides us with a platform to scan instances when they are getting created, and the dashboard helps us to identify the critical issues."
"The cloud misconfiguration feature and Offensive Security Engine, as well as their alerting process, are valuable."
"The cooperative nature of SentinelOne has influenced our decision not to shift."
"It is fully cloud-based, so we don't need to invest in third-party agents repeatedly."
"CrowdStrike utilizes signatureless technology, eliminating the need for regular signature updates on endpoint systems."
"There is a lot that it can do, but endpoint protection is the main thing about it. The fact that it uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to monitor and remediate the issues in real-time is probably the bread and butter of the product."
"The scalability of the product has been great."
"Cloud security is one valuable feature. Spotlight is the other one. There is also vulnerability management and a couple of more features."
"I have contacted customer service, and they are fast."
"The most valuable features of CrowdStrike Falcon include its automation capabilities, efficacy, and lower risk."
"The alerts are clearer, and the capabilities are much better than the others."
"We use the solution for Zero-day protection."

Cons

"The areas with room for improvement include the cost, which is higher compared to other security platforms. The dashboard can also be laggy."
"For vulnerabilities, they are showing CVE ID. The naming convention should be better so that it indicates the container where a vulnerability is present. Currently, they are only showing CVE ID, but the same CVE ID might be present in multiple containers. We would like to have the container name so that we can easily fix the issue."
"We are experiencing problems with Cloud Native Security reporting."
"There is no break-glass account feature. They should implement this as soon as possible because we can't implement SSO without a break-glass feature."
"In version 2, a lot of rules have been deployed for Kubernetes security and CDR, which makes a lot of issues of critical severity, whereas they are not critical or of high severity. There is a mismatch of severities."
"I would like PingSafe's detections to be openly available online instead of only accessible through their portal. Other tools have detections that are openly available without going through the tool."
"In some cases, the rules are strictly enforced but do not align with real-world use cases."
"While the future roadmap presented by SentinelOne appears promising, I hope the envisioned advancements are realistically achievable and that the gap between current offerings and long-term goals is not too significant."
"Customers would benefit it CrowdStrike adopted some of SentinelOne's technologies."
"There is room for improvement in the solution's ability to handle Linux systems."
"The SIEM needs to be more developed."
"It would be more convenient if there was an easier way to install CrowdStrike, perhaps through better integration with Active Directory."
"The tool's scalability is low."
"The tool could give us more templates so that people who are not updated with the platform can easily get acquainted with how to secure and utilize the product more."
"I would not say the tool's integration capabilities were straightforward because the complexity depends on the volume of the data."
"The CrowdStrike dashboard currently lacks a username field."
"The tool's dashboard needs to load since it is not responsive and takes time to load."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Singularity Cloud Workload Security's pricing is good."
"Singularity Cloud Security by SentinelOne is cost-efficient."
"PingSafe is fairly priced."
"The licensing is easy to understand and implement, with some flexibility to accommodate dynamic environments."
"For pricing, it currently seems to be in line with market rates."
"PingSafe is not very expensive compared to Prisma Cloud, but it's also not that cheap. However, because of its features, it makes sense to us as a company. It's fairly priced."
"It is cheap."
"It's not expensive. The product is in its initial growth stages and appears more competitive compared to others. It comes in different variants, and I believe the enterprise version costs around $55 per user per year. I would rate it a five, somewhere fairly moderate."
"It is expensive, but it adds value."
"I am not the one who handled the pricing. A different team worked on it, but it is pretty expensive."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is pricy."
"Its price is moderate."
"CrowdStrike Falcon is very expensive."
"The pricing is fair for what you get. I'd rate them a solid nine out of ten in terms of pricing."
"The price is not too high, it is okay."
"The pricing is reasonable, neither overly expensive nor excessively cheap, making it competitive compared to other market options."
"I would rate the solution's pricing an eight out of ten."
