The vendor is willing to work with us and develop solutions for products they did not already have an integration for.
As with any new software implementation, during the integration we found a couple of minor issues when integrating certain products (such as SCOM). However, each time this happened Evanios was very quick to identify the bug we were seeing, patch it and provide the new update set for us to install. Also, during the evaluation of Evanios we found that they already had integrations with most of our larger monitoring tools, however they also stated that they would be able to create update sets to integrate certain products we used that they did not currently support. This proved to be very valuable for us because they were able to become an even better fit for our organization by creating update sets\integrations for PRTG, Quest Foglight, TIBCO and Thousand Eyes as well.

The most valuable feature for my team is the ability to taken event feeds from all/any source tool and put them in a single pane of glass. It's being replaced for our work by another Tivoli tool.
TBSM is being replaced for our work by another Tivoli tool - DASH. This replacement will address the biggest area of improvement. We need the most commonly leveraged real-time metric trends from the source tools in the same pane of glass as the event stream is presenting, and DASH gives a way to do that with logical grouping by type & app.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The ability to manipulate events via JavaScript getting the exact data that we want."
"The most valuable feature is the integration with various alert-generating systems because you might have synthetic alerts or monitoring alerts for volume drops."
"Provided up to a 90% noise reduction in some our noisy monitoring tools."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the efficiency."

Cons

"We would like the ability to have an "exit" option for events when they are being processed."
"The price could be cheaper."
"More complex correlation rules would be nice. The ability to clearly define a parent event in a correlation and nested correlations, specifically."
"This application should be made easier to use because it usually needs training and it is not easy to operate."
