Easy to install with good support, but the deployment of applications could be simplified
If a customer is focused on application modernization or CI/CD, there are some weaknesses. The modernization in Ezmeral could be improved. There are some issues with the integration of Kubernetes. I hope they can improve it and do much better than they do now. I would like to see the deployment of applications simplified.

Manage infrastructure automation and smooth application deployment with robust auto-scaling capabilities
Kubernetes is highly valuable for its node-based setup, which allows for the running of multiple pods. This feature is essential for infrastructure automation and application deployment. Kubernetes also offers rollback control and auto-scaling capabilities, which are crucial for maintaining an application's availability even if nodes or pods go down. Additionally, Kubernetes supports load balancing to distribute traffic efficiently across multiple pods.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"If customers focus on primary apps or if they are using them for data science, this is a good solution."
"The performance is good."
"I like that it has really boosted cloud-native development and stood the test of time. The underlying architecture allows one to scale as per the business KPIs much faster."
"I like the replication center and the configuration."
"We find the smooth, instant fail-safes in this solution to be very useful, as this allows for easy revival of dying quads or failing applications."
"The solution is easy to use."
"There's a lot of community support if you need to get help."
"The tool's most valuable feature is the auto-scaling feature. However, Kubernetes is not used alone; it is part of a complete deployment pipeline integrated with DevOps. This pipeline includes automation and deployment capabilities."
"I am impressed with the product's coupling of resources and flexibility."

Cons

"The modernization in Ezmeral could be improved."
"Having a thread dump and memory dump, and seeing how many objects were created would be useful."
"The setup and operation of the product should be simplified."
"One thing I noticed is when you have multiple deployments and your node count increases beyond eight or nine, the container creation process doesn't copy properties correctly."
"This solution is not very easy to use."
"Kubernetes should improve its consistency across different types of deployments. My customers tell me that they get much better performance when Kubernetes is deployed on VM versus PaaS services from Azure."
"I would rate the stability as five out of ten. If any containers take more space, sometimes the cluster goes down."
"The front end is very rudimentary."
"There is not a large ecosystem surrounding Kubernetes, making it difficult to identify the right problem due to the vast number of solutions."
