Users can easily deploy and manage it
The solution's most valuable feature is that it is simple to deploy and manage. I can't say what features of the tool I like since it is very much a deploy-and-forget product. We don't use any advanced features of the tool in my company. The tool's recovery options are good, especially since it integrates with Active Directory, making everything a simple process. The product's integration capabilities are good.

Greta for remote control and management with good performance
I'm not on the most current version, however, I know one area that I didn't get into that I kind of wanted to is to have a mobile device management tool. My understanding is it's improved a lot from the version I have. It may be a feature that is already available. Other than that, it really does everything I need it to do, and don't have any complaints.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The ease of use is the most valuable feature. The ability to import data to build your frontend on top of the data is very simple and very useable."
"We use Microsoft BitLocker for our endpoints, including laptops."
"The tool is stable."
"The initial setup is very simple."
"The solution has a feature that automatically asks the users to upgrade their password once we set up the process."
"It comes bundled with other Microsoft solutions."
"BitLocker is completely stable."
"The solution works the way it's supposed to - stability and scalability are fine."
"The setup is pretty straightforward."
"The stability is good."

Cons

"The customizations could be more flexible."
"For improvement, as it is now, I do not have any support from anyone. There should be a web interface to manage BitLocker. But for now, all I do is just install a new product on the user's machine and create it. I would like to be able to see everything that is happening, even if it is just through a web interface. I would also like to be able to see how many users are provisioned, which users are using BitLocker, and how to disable or enable it. That's what I would like to see."
"The visualization could be better."
"They can improve the security of the application and include an encryption disk in the next feature."
"I often have to make multiple attempts to log in."
"The solution should offer encryption for other items such as shared folders, removable media, etc."
"More customization options would have been nice, such as password selection, actions when the screen is locked, etc."
"The only thing that could be slightly improved is the occasional stability issue."
"I'm not on the most current version, however, I know one area that I didn't get into that I kind of wanted to is to have a mobile device management tool. My understanding is it's improved a lot from the version I have. It may be a feature that is already available."
"If they could introduce it on the cloud, it would be ideal."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We didn't pay for additional licenses since the solution is built into Windows."
"The solution is priced low. I would rate the product's pricing one out of ten."
"It is free. It is enabled as part of the operating system. Once you have an operating system license, you're licensed for Bitlocker."
"It operates on a subscription model on an annual basis."
"I think it's reasonably priced because I've never heard any complaints from my company about its costs."
"The price of this solution should be more competitive."
"This solution is included with Microsoft Server and my clients did not have to pay for anything extra."
"The product's cost is included in Windows."
