Data replication to a High Availability system is valuable but replication of files on the IFS system can be improved
I tested a solution from another vendor at the time (ITERA) while at a previous employer. I found the installation and replication set-up to on the hard side, taking most of a week to do by a specialist from ITERA. I also visited another company in the process of installing MIMIX and setting up the replication. Listing what to replicate took about 1 hour (same with ITERA), software installation took less than one hour and setting up the system and replication took about 2 hours. In all 1/2 day (MIMIX) vs. 1 week (ITERA). I moved to a new company and recommended MIMIX.

"SQL Tuning Advisor, ADDM, Top Activity, ASM Space Manager, Incident Notifications"

"It can also help with capacity planning, sizing, and maximizing overall performance in a large scale environment."
"The job subsystem, monitoring subsystem, alerting, grouping of targets, and reporting features are valuable to us."
"One of the most valuable features of Oracle Enterprise Manager has been the preventive reporting capability."
"It's a useful feature to be able to see the top SQL, the number of executions, the CPU, and the resources that it's using."
"Oracle Enterprise Manager has eased the responsibilities among our DBAs. We can now assign individual tasks to separate DBAs."

Cons

"Oracle Enterprise Manager could improve the monitoring types and the graphics."
"I rate Oracle Enterprise Manager six out of 10 for affordability. It's expensive."
"I feel more dashboards can be added, especially those useful to higher levels of IT management."
"The tool's pricing is costly."
"The solution's agents work with Java, and the Java code sometimes consumes a lot of memory on the CPU."
"The fact that Oracle Enterprise Manager is an expensive solution is a matter of concern and needs to be considered for improvement."
"The platform's interface could be more streamlined. Currently, there are multiple ways to navigate to a specific point, which can be confusing."
