"This is an easy-to-install easy-to-use solution for backing up Office 365 email."
"The most valuable feature is the built-in integration with Office 365, which helps us protect email accounts and servers. We use it on virtual servers on the cloud with Azure, or we can use an agent on physical servers."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The most valuable feature is that we don't need different agents to back up our files from different accounts."

Cons

"We use a yearly subscription. However, I believe the price could be lower."
"While Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is a highly convenient product, there is room for improvement in its integration with Microsoft 365."
"Veeam is quite expensive."
"It's a new product. It's not mature."
"If Veeam could offer backup as a service for data backup and recovery, that would be great. We'd like something like what Druva is offering at the moment."
"We tried to use Veeam for our DRP. It was complicated to use and did not help us with our DRP needs due to our internet connectivity at that time."
"I would like Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to increase the speed to reduce the backup time."
"In some instances, a customer is not necessarily backing up Microsoft 365. For instance, they might be backing up a large Oracle database. It would be nice if they could tweak it to compress the file, so it's easier to transfer a huge file."
"The deduplication and compression ratio could be improved to save more space for customers."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is an annual license required and a per-user fee for this solution."
"The pricing is expensive."
"We decided on Altaro because, from the point of view of the total cost, Altaro looks cheaper than Veeam. Veeam has a lot of costs that are not clear when you start it, which makes it less flexible than Altaro, but only after half a year, you can be really sure that you made a good decision."
"Its price is a little bit high, but it is a fantastic solution. It is more expensive than NetApp."
"It is strictly subscribed on a per-user basis."
"The solution is not expensive."
"I have a per-user license for the number of users and the mailboxes that I have."
"I think it's a fair price. It's around $36 per user, so I think it's a fair price for our customers."
