What is our primary use case?
As a sales operations analyst, my day-to-day tasks involve collating, managing huge data from Excel files, forecast, building dashboards, and sharing those files with our stakeholders.
For analysis, we mainly deal with a minimum of ten years of data so the file size will be huge and manually sharing those data and adding security measures to those files was an ongoing challenge for us.
Data loss and cross-sharing of files without proper security measures was a huge problem facing our organization. After implementing JSCAPE MFT, these tasks have become more convenient.
How has it helped my organization?
JSCAPE is a top-notch file transfer service. It has helped me to negate manual intervention whilst transferring huge files, in turn causing fewer errors and bill data loss.
The main advantage is it aids in achieving all types of transfers as it supports different types of protocols. The transfer of files is made easy by supporting different types of operating systems and database servers. This, in turn, helps us to compress the files automatically without any hassle. It also has an amazing UI that is user-friendly.
What is most valuable?
1. JSCAPE's ability to support all the major protocols like HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, etc., has made file sharing a process very easy.
2. Its automation feature is noteworthy as files can be transferred in a jiffy.
3. No complex coding or scripts are required while working on file cleaning.
4. It can work on any operating system using the latest encryption technology.
5. JSCAPE provides high-level data encryption, which can help us share confidential and time-sensitive data across our global partners without any hassle.
What needs improvement?
When it comes to performance and scalability, JSCAPE is a highly reliable software, however, I would suggest a few improvements:
1. The documentation needs a revamp for a better understanding of the features of the tool.
2. Customer service can be offered on call or chat.
3. The initial setup is time-consuming; it could use a video tutorial.
4. UI can be improved in terms of look and feel.
5. Documentation should be provided for a majority of newly released features as these can be difficult for a layman to use without proper instructions.
