Nutanix needs more development on DRC solutions embedded in Acropolis.

We have used this solution for five or six months.

For now, it is stable enough.

The scalability is great and simple.

Technical support is good.

The installation was straightforward.

Pricing and licensing are good.

We have tried VMware solutions: vSphere, vCenter, vSOM, and SRM.

My primary use case for this solution

We have had good feedback from our customers about this solution.

Areas for improvement would be the memory setting and the CPU setting reserve features, which are not available on Acropolis. I also feel that the DR solution, the reporting, and the component that is combined with the Nutanix OSP need to be improved.

I have been working with this product for a year and a half.

I find this solution to be stable.

The scalability of this solution is fine.

I previously used VMware, but we switched to Acropolis as it is more cost-effective.

The initial setup was simple.

Acropolis is a good choice for those who want to go with a complete infrastructure. I would give this solution a score of eight out of ten.

I use it for electronic VPN management and HR applications.

The most valuable features are its ease of use and its good performance.

The product could be improved with more security. The product needs a bit more experience in the market. I think you don't have the possibility to add other hardware. It could be improved with the ability to add and extend.

Stability, in my opinion, is very good.

Scalability from my impression of the solution is that it's very good. We have 300 users.

My experience with customer support has been good. They're quick in response and offer quality help.

Previously, we used VMware. But it's a completely different solution with a different platform.

The initial setup was straightforward. It wasn't complex; it was easy to setup. Deployment took about 2 to 3 hours maximum. We require five people for deployment and maintenance.

When it came time to implement, we have our own service provider, so we went with them.

The advice I would give would be to ensure you choose the right configuration.

I like the product very much. I would say use it as a solution. I would rate this solution 8 out of 10.

Scalability is the most valuable feature because it is easy to scale-up and scale-out without impact in performance since it is always online.

Improves the management of our virtual infrastructure in a unified point and with unified support team.

Cloud integration, automation and orchestration need improvement.

I didn’t have a previous solution. I tested different solutions for my customers, such as Nutanix, VSAN, HPE VSA, etc, and evaluated them, but the solutions are for my customers. Also, I test all solutions in our infrastructure.

Setup was very easy. With a few steps and a nice wizard, you have your infrastructure up.

Is not a cheap solution, compare with competitors, but you must consider all variables in the environment to calculate the TCO. You have pre-sales tool Nutanix Sizer to calculate the TCO.

I looked at VMware vSAN, and HPE VSA.

Use the sizing tools in order to design the infrastructure properly.
