A scalable and stable solution that has good scalability and is easy to setup

We have a static environment where we created a server and workforce, and that was basically it. And it's promising.


What is most valuable?

The solution is scalable, and that is what we are looking at. There is no learning curve as we have not done much research. We're just playing with what we're given by the hosted components and it is straightforward. We like that about the solution.

We're using it for a lot of government projects. We have a lot of solutions, like fault tolerance and high availability for the solution.

There are about 75 people using this solution, from management, system engineering, database administrators, developers, and engineers for security.

We have a lot of customers. We have plans to increase the team.

The solution is deployed on a public cloud.

How has it helped my organization?

The security and availability are really good. It's clearly organized.

What is our primary use case?

We are a solution provider and Jelastic is one of the products that we resell to our clients. We implement all kinds of solutions on this platform and we manage it.

What needs improvement?

The backup functionality needs to be improved.

In the future, I would like to see distributions for multiple cloud platforms with multiple data centers. They have started to build some products along this line of thinking but they should be more fully developed. More products should follow a multi-cloud strategy.

We are an MSP and host this solution for our customers' environments. We are customers of Jelastic, resellers of this solution and I'm a business development executive. 

What is most valuable?

I think the cloudlet granular resource assignment with the dynamic vertical scaling is probably the biggest unique feature that differentiates Jelastic from other similar products.

The horizontal and vertical auto-scaling is the most valuable feature.

Offering a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution, very easy to use thanks to an intuitive dashboard and with a real pay per use model.

How has it helped my organization?

Jelastic has helped Infortelecom to attract and gain more developers as customers, which differentiates our offer from other cloud hosts in our country. Infortelecom is the only official Jelastic partner in Spain.

Costs less than other solutions and it's easy to migrate.

What is most valuable?

  • Automatic vertical and horizontal scaling.
  • Easy setup process, I created my production and test environments in minutes.
  • Easy deployment throughout maven (automatically deploys your applications to all web servers if you have high availability).
  • Pay only for the resources your application uses.

How has it helped my organization?

We almost don't have to maintain our servers. We don't have to worry about scaling as our user-base grows. Saves time and money.
