AWS Glue can definitely be challenging for beginners. I have worked with various AWS products, as well as with other cloud data integration tools, so for me, starting to work with this one did not cause difficulties. However, several of my teammates who were beginners to such a solution experienced difficulties, as the product seemed to be complex for them. You cannot run your own graphs in it and if you are not an experienced developer or if you are completely new to the cloud space, you may need to undergo certain training to get things going. If you can get past the more complex interface, the product is quite efficient, and you will benefit a lot from it. You just need to spend time learning about it.
