I've just started using NetApp Cloud Backup but my initial reason behind choosing it in the first place is that they advertise their high-security approach. So basically, they give you ransomware protection which I think everyone knows how essential it is when your data is in the cloud. Even the best cloud service provider can have breaches and if someone can save me from hackers, I'm all in. Then, they also provide you with end-to-end encryption and make you the owner of your security keys, giving you the control. I'm yet to explore the rest of the features and hopefully, I won't need to be directly using them, but to know I'm secured, I'm gladly using NetApp Cloud Backup.
Yes, I personally think it is secure enough and I rely on its protection for my cloud backup. For me personally, this NetApp product is providing good protection for my data because it's designed specifically to work with ONTAP, meaning it's the best possible solution. Moreover, it gives you some security enhancements that can give you the reassurance that once you've backed up your data, it's really there. That means that you can count on it in case of emergency to be restored, and they do it pretty fast, too. I think NetApp Cloud Backup is a good product and for what it does, and how it does it, I believe it's protecting my data, as I haven't had any issues in this regard so far.
Data backup involves copying and moving data from its primary location to a secondary location from which it can later be retrieved in case the primary data storage location experiences some kind of failure or disaster.
